I have been vaping for a weak now and my setup really isn't working. Twisp with a ego5+ battery. The battery is the real problem, it just doesn't last. About a year ago I used a ego 4 and the battery was so much better. I want to improve my setup. I would like to get something reliable and easy to find spares for. And in time learn to build my own coils as I see that's the newest way. Any suggestions?

Are you a mouth-to-lung inhaler or a direct-to-lung inhaler? That will make a difference on what members recommend as far as topper/juice delivery devise.
Consider the eLeaf iStick 30watt (2200 mAh) or even 50watt (4400 mAh) for a battery.

iStick 50W ($50)has a 4400 mah battery. It's good down to .2 ohms (as web states but haven't tried). I use Nautilus Mini's($28) on mine, as I haven't yet made the jump into sub ohms (I'm content with my vape, and figure once I go sub I won't enjoy the Mini as much) .
Now idea what a EGO5+ is.... or EGO 4 or Twisp.
But if you want to rebuild at some point I would say get a sub 30Watt regulated mod and a good clearomizer or Rebuildable. DO NOT even consider SUB-OHM till you know how to get a 2ohm coil working PERFECTLY.

Thanks I am a mouth to lung vaper, but when the battery starts to go I go direct. I like to taste the liquid. I really enjoy vaping but have went back to analogs when my battery failed me for the umpteenth time. A weak ago I grabbed the solder and fixed it. Now I am a happy vapor again. I Have been doing research since, but vaping has evolved so much. sub ohms, variable voltages, watts, batmods the list is endless. Now I feel dumb. So yip I don't want to spend too much but I don't want to have to spend too little either.

Whatever you decide to get, get at least two of them. You should always have backup batteries for that "just in case."
I agree with the 50W iStick. I absolutely love it. It lasts forever!
I had some issues like the first 30 minutes I had it where it was giving me temp protection and low power warnings seemingly at random... but then that stopped and has worked perfect for about a week.

Also, remember that if you order from the USA the charger plug will not work in SA. Get the kit that comes without the charger and buy the charger locally. I'll also put up a +1 for the eleaf Istick mods. I've got the 20W, 30W and 50W, they all are awesome batteries that will fire everything you could really wish to throw at it.
Agree with Larry with having back ups, eventually you need to do the same with your E cigs as you continue your journey.
I'd definitely look into the eLeaf iStick, it is a great beginner setup with a long battery life!
I have just decided that I will build my own. I am an electrition and a fitter. I also have access to a lathe, so it is pretty easy to build an apsalute beautiful mechanical mod. I will use my own 510 fitting and get a decent switch at the electronic store, along with resisters. Just need battery's.
