Vaping for anxiety?

i agree completely its a debilitating disorder but never the less we will all stay strong
Since i have made the switch from analogs i find that my anxiety does not get as severe in general. Something to be said there as well.
Lots of interesting possibilities i guess maybe someone more well versed can chime in ;D

Its not placebo; even if you vape 0 , the entire experience will calm you down as well.

That is fabulous information! Thanks so much! Some people never believed me, others (usually ex-smokings or vapers) totally get it. My anxiety makes me feel helpless and restless and going out for a vape makes me feel like I am being constructive and have control over it! I thought it might just be a palcebo affect for a while but I'm glad to know there's more credible evidence towards it than that.

Tobacco seemed to cause me more anxiety. For some reason vaping just nicotine/flavor has not only helped with my depression/anxiety issues, but made my quality of life better having such a fun hobby.

This makes me wonder how many addictive chemicals actually are in cigarettes, it must not be just nicotine. And the FDA is going after vaping, what about cigarettes and all the chemicals that are unknown to us they put in them???

i made a similar thread a week into vaping.ive found since scalling down from 24 mg to now 6 mg my anxiousness is even less.

oddly enough, since i quit smoking 95 days ago for vaping, i dropped another 22 lbs for a total in the past 8 months of 37.

from 230 to 193 today, from a pack of 25s a day minimum to zero, then from 24 mg nic to 6 mg.

quite possibly the healthiest ive ever been in my adult life. its been a great year for me. smoking was a 17 year habit.gone for good, never felt better.

I also find vaping lessens my anxiety... Much more so than analogs ever did. After smoking for 45 years, now being three months into only vaping 6mg nic, I think there has been a real shift towards calm. Still trying to learn the various facets of vaping though.
