Hi there!
I'm new to vaping and to this forum, but wanted to share my experience from the POVof a social smoker. For 15 years I was a pack a day smoker (sometimes more), then I quit cold turkey but would still "binge smoke" 1-2 times a month when I was out on the town or partying in any fashion. On those nights, I would usually smoke anywhere from 10-20 cigarettes and then wake up with what I call a "cigarette hangover" which amplifies any regular hangover or general fatigue I might have had.
I was lucky enough to have a friend who had already gone through months of research buying and trying different e-Cigs and juices so I had a good idea of what I wanted when I finally made the leap a couple of weeks ago. I started with Volcano's Inferno and I absolutely love it.
Some observations about what I find to be Pros & Cons so far are:
The repetitive, ritual part of smoking is the part of smoking I liked and missed the most, and the thing I really wanted when I kept smoking socially. I love being able to have that "ritual" but in a form that isn't repugnant and also has some really interesting aspects outside of just its primary function.
The one downside I see is this: I am "smoking" more with my e-cig than I was when I just occasionally smoked analogs because I actually enjoy it. the trade-off is that I can't even fathom smoking an analog again in my life!
Favorite juices so far have been Vapor Etc.'s Apple Cinnamon and Halo's Torque 56. I have a ton of other flavors on the way to try, but am very much open to suggestion, especially if anyone knows of a juice that has a particularly authentic burnt caramel flavor!

Some observations about what I find to be Pros & Cons so far are:
- No "cigarette hangover"
- No ashtray scented dirty clothes
- vaping actually tastes good
- There is a LOT of variety in terms of juices and devices
- Although some people like the simplest approach possible, especially if in the process of replacing a daily analog habit with e-cigs, I like that I have the option to customize my little "gadget" - bling it out, swap my batteries around ( I've also ordered a couple of regular sized 510s for when I'm just out on the town and need something compact), hoard and sample as many juices as possible, etc.
