I have not had an analog for over a month and suddenly I am feeling guilty that I vape sooo much.

I don't crave a real cig at all which is just totally awesome and I know vaping is saving me from that crave. I love sitting by my computer and just vape, sometimes I forget I am even vaping...LOL:vapor:.

I am currently at nicotine 18mg and was going to cut down but I don't think I am ready yet.

So why feel guilty right? :?: I don't know...Just wondering if anyone has or is experiencing vaping guilts and why?

Thanks for sharing...

I have been vaping mostly 30mg stuff for a month now -- just now starting to get the hang of all the balancing factors for vape vs. throat hit vs. taste -- it's pretty fun (a little pricey though) to figure it all out

I don't really feel that guilty about going nuts with vaping because no matter how much I vape there isn't any tar or ash that is gonna stick to my lungs

I sometimes feel like I SHOULD feel guilty, but that's probably only because of all those years of smoking where I was always feeling guilty about indulging in another smoke or another puff... that'll probably pass eventually

Only things I feel guilty about is that I can't convert most of my friends that smoke to ecigs. They say it's too weird, they LIKE smoking, not ready to try something new, it's just "not for them", and my occasional reaction to smelling smoke (coughing/gagging) when they smoke around me, that they're sure I won't mind since I "still vape" (?). I find I can't stand analogs at all anymore, smell, taste, anything. :(

I think there is a pretty complicated emotional attachment between a smoker and their analogs. After smoking for so long, quitting almost feels like getting out of a long-term relationship. Going over to vaping has definitely brought up a lot of strange feeling for me, guilt being one of them. At the end of the day though, I am pretty happy about getting off smoking. I miss it a lot, but on the other hand I feel much healthier.

Nope not one shred of guilt. Why would I? I am saving $$$$, I am healthier, I don't stink of stale smoke, I don't snore anymore, I have a nice cool collection of vaping gear and DIY flavors, I can Vape in the house. etc. etc. etc. The only thing I wish is that I had sarted sooner and had found ECF before wasting money on the same junk most people who have found this forum after their first e-cig purchase did. Congrats on the one month mark. Do what I do and go buy something cool for reaching that milestone!

yeah I know what you mean... my brother smokes and he doesn't mind using my spare 510 in band practice (can't have smoke in my house anymore -- yuk...) and he actually likes the flavor and throat hit a lot, but for some reason he seems very averse to the idea of making the switch, as does his girlfriend -- I guess I'm just not much of a salesman (even though I try not to come on too strong... excited about it as I am...)

maybe after they see me doing it for six months or a year and they get bronchitis or any of the other sundry maladies associated with smoking they'll get interested -- especially when I'm vaping Banana Cream Pie, Wyatt Earp, Cherry Coke... we'll see

I thought your comments were pretty insightful. About the only thing I miss about smoking now is how easy it was in comparison to vaping. But that is a small price to pay for feeling better physically and about myself.

I haven't ever felt guilty about vaping my head off. I'd feel more guilty if I started smoking analogs again. I didn't come into vaping with the intention of quitting. It just sort of happened the first time I picked up my Riva and started using it. I'm not the slightest bit unhappy about it, either! I mean really...who could possibly be unhappy or feel guilty about saving money and more importantly, saving their own life?

If it would make you feel better get some 12mg of your favorite juice. Try using it when at your computer chain vaping for an hour. Many of us vape more than one level of juice during the day. No, you may not be ready to reduce the nic level that you vape all day but you may be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to vape a lower level part of your day and the higher level the rest of your day.

Never feel guilty about vaping !!!! Its a great thing youv'e done by converting to it.

I don't feel guilty at all. I've gotten friends and family off of cigarettes....and many more at least trying or interested. People see me enjoying my vape and some inquire about it. It's great when I get them turned on to vaping. Just this past week had a new friend completely quit after giving him a box mod over the weekend. That's just awesome.

I did tell my best friend that I was going to ecigs and 6 days later she was off analogs with her new ecig. I ordered her a Riva because I was afraid she may not like the short battery life of Yeti 510 and she absolutely loves it and still is analog free. I also had another smoker friend ask me what I was doing when we went outside to "smoke"...she asked me for info and said she was going to order one. Don't know if she did yet. So I guess I am helping friends think of the alternative. Wow, this is awesome!!! Just didn't think about it much...
