I live in Vegas too, I have to use the outside smoking area and need two (2) set-ups for outside vaping. Its just too hot, thats all. I vape a few minutes and can feel the tank is hot and switch to another. When the tank or should I say coil, (Aspire nautilus) gets too hot I get a little leaking, very little vapor, and the feeling something isn't right. I found that 2 tanks and switching after a few minutes gets me my whole break time, 1/2 hour.

In short, nothing you can do except waiting until it cools off. I know the end of September seem like a long way off, especially after the last week or so.

Drastic temp changes are many times a problem with tanks. It's the juice viscosity coupled with tank pressure from temp change.

It's just as bad in the winter from inside to subzero outside.

Temporarily adjusting vg ratio helps if the temp is more consistently one way or the other. You can go a little higher vg but may not wick well indoors if too much. Theres a fine line. I go lower vg in the winter but it has to be just right to work well inside and outside.

The best bet without changing anything, like others said, is to keep it cooler or upside down, and/ or crack the tank while upside down after a few minutes in the heat... before the pressure builds in the tank enough to leak.

This lets air purge out. If its left upside down the pressure will purge naturally, but you drip tip may get some juice in it..

I've been using a KF 3.1 for over a year, that has never leaked due to temp/pressure variations. I've owned several tanks and they all leaked, some worse than others.
I have 8 KF 3.1's now and have yet to experience the leaks and/or gurgling that I did with others. I don't really understand why but they just don't.
OBTW I'm in N. Dallas so yeah we get pretty hot in july and august as well.

in a lot of cases as the weather gets hotter try filling your tank
to a lower level.the higher the temperature the lower the viscosity
of the juice. as viscosity drops absorption by the wick increases.
with a full tank there tends to be more juice than the wicking
set up can handle. in a bottom fed system gravity and weight is the
problem. in a top fed system sheer volume is the problem.
i use plain old iclear 16's. i never fill them past the last two
measurement markers and have eliminated 99.9% of all
leaking/gurgling issues.

I'm also in Vegas. Not a lot you can do. I try to keep my tanks upside down more. I also try to vape a couple times when I first get into the heat to equalize temp in the tank. Seems to help some.

Also, I never leave in the car for any reason. That is a guaranteed leak (at the least).

There is a very simple and easy trick to stop tanks from leaking in a sudden temperature increase.

Simply puff on the tank once every 10 seconds or so until the temperature balances out. Take a 3-5 second draw, blow it out, wait 5 seconds, and repeat. It will normally only take 1-3 minutes for the internal temp to match the external temps, especially if you're heating it up with use at the same time.

And yes, I know this from experience....

Its not the leaking that gives me trouble, its very sleight. The problem is the overall vape experience when its HOT out. Its just too hot for a good vape. I know once it cool down again all will be good.

I like the Nautilus most of the time, its only when I'm stuck out in the extreme heat that I had to adjust. I spend as little time vaping out in the heat as I can, but other than that, I can't complain about the Nautilus. I'm not going the rebuild route, not going to drip, or any of that. Its just not for me. I use the regular Nautilus and keep a mini on an ego to switch off with.
