Vaping in high humidity area

Hi all, recently went to Florida and vaping is not working so well in the humidity. I can barely breathe as it is down here but now I can only vape a few puffs and I'm winded. Chest hurts. Drowning feeling
Anyone else have that problem?
Also tried a 100% PG... Less congestion but more pain when breathing. It is extremely humid down here.

your body may be getting weak from the less toxins from cigs. Our bodies get used to what we have in them and I've seen that in Indiana where I'm from where the humidity is always 99 percent in the summer. But I still breath better that when I used cigs. The cigs have chems that open your lungs and prevent you from coughing so you may have a little struggle to begin with but soon your lungs will open up and you will be able to deal with it.

well pushing out toxins is one thing, but that all depends on how long it's been since you've made the swap, if it was a recent swap and a recent trip as well, you got hit with a double whammy.

simply put: unless you're from a humid climate, it takes some time getting used to the thick air...i live in new orleans myself...and we can chew the air up with a side of coleslaw and call it lunch it's so thick and humid...but i'm used to it.

contrarily, on a trip i took to denver awhile back, i couldn't get enough oxygen out of the thin air there...i was NOT used to that.

so in summary, you were not used to the humid climate, that's one of the problems there, the other is the possibility of vaping (which causes you to take a deep breath) had you pulling in MORE than the necessary amounts of oxygen, plus with vaping taking away some of the moisture in the air entering your lungs, you were getting a huge abundance of oxygen, causing free radical oxygen particles to form, and causing things to start oxidizing in your bloodstream, in short, get some more antioxidants in your diet when you're in those kind of environments again, and see if there are results there, if not, then the only other thing i could do is tell you to go see a doctor man.

I live in FLA and no worries here. Heavy VG doesn't work well for me but not sure if the humidity has anything to do with it. Sounds to me like you might be dehydrated. Try more water. Also, this time of fall is allergy season down here. Recommend talking with a doctor or a visit. This doesn't sound normal.

I'm inclined to agree with Apptiger's post.... I live in Florida also... heavy VG doesn't work well for me either... also not sure the humidity has anything to do with it either, but must confess if you're from drier climates one must become acclimated before it becomes comfortable. I 'think' you may have lung issues that have nothing to do with vaping that may warrant a Dr. visit. Good luck and hope you resolve the issue.(s) :)

Wow, nailed it. Tea made me feel better, and then I read your post.
As for the other comments after your post, something is definitely wrong with my lungs. I smoked for 30 years! Chronic bronchitis, that copd thing, and doctor a couple years ago said the "emphysema" word within earshot.
Humidity is hard for me without smoking, so yea breathing in anything with it makes it worse. But drinking that tea made a difference. I also mixed me up a batch of 20/80 vg/pg fluid and that's way better. And I switched to a dual coil disposable carto.
Much lighter vapor now and breathing easy. Really appreciate all the responses, vape on my friends!

In Buenos Aires is less humid than in Florida and yes, sometimes the same thing happens, and not with cigarettes. Try a bottom coil, it has a less humid vape, it might help.

Are you sure Bs As is less humid than Florida? haha
By the way, yo tambien soy de Bs As, pero vivo en Minnesota ahora.

Lol glad I could be of some assistance, apples work well too ,loaded with good stuff...best I've found though is v8 tomato juice, tons of antioxidants plus beta kerotine, really good stuff for your body.

Hola!! Buenos Aires is definitely less humid than southern Florida in the summer. Although spring here is far worse, we haven't had any nice days for the past two weeks. Hopefully it'll solve itself by the end of october ;)
