I agree with many... The idea is NOT going to help us as a community but rather add fuel to the fire by anti-smoking groups, and so on to ban what we love. Please, reconsider this. I get it, you're just trying to be funny but the e-cigg industry is just too new and too few people even understand how they work yet.* The idea of " vaping in inappropriate places" site is going to give negative connotations. I personally believe few places are inappropriate. Every public arena to me, be grocery stores, the bar, carnivals, whatever are an opportunity to possibly intrigue a smoker and maybe help release them of their chains to tobacco holding them tight.
case and point* My friend wanted to try my e-cigg last night, she smokes when she can afford it. She put the OPPOSITE end in her mouth. It was hilarious and adorable but proves e-ciggs are still a huge mystery to the average person.

So what have we got? A site where people post Pics and Vids of Vaping in Inappropriate Places and e-Cig Reviews done by what appears to be Minors.

The point isn't to demonize vaping guys, I think you missed my intentions for the site. Let's face it, vaping isn't 100% socially acceptable in public places yet. The point of the site is to amuse. You're looking way too deep into it :/
We're both 18, and down from 1.5 packs a day to nothing but pure VG vapor clouds.

Any time you do something in a Public Arena, your Actions May or May Not be Perceived as how you intended them to be.
Creating a site to "amuse" is great. There are only about 200 Million of those on the Internet. Now there is One More.
But your site Also lends itself Well to Every Anti-Vaping Activist who wants, at best, Vaping Banned from All Indoor Spaces.
By posting Pics and Vids of People Vaping in Inappropriate Places it Portrays ALL Vapers as Irresponsible. People who do Not Exercise Any Self Control while Vaping and have No Respect for Other People. This is Very Valid Argument for An Indoor Ban of e-Cigarettes.
Also, the Anti-Vaping Community will have a Field Day with your choice of YouTube Videos which Most People are going to Perceive as Minors.
If you like your "Freedom" to vape as it Currently Exists, I would take your site Off-Line. It does Nothing but Fuel the Fires that e-Cigarettes should be Banned.

BTW - Look at the Reaction your site has gotten here on a e-Cigarette Forum where 99.9% of Members are Vapers?
Now think how well Your Site will be receive in the General Population where Vapers number less than 5%.

My thought on it is this... if the people HERE saw it this way, then other people will see it that way, too. Perception outweighs intention in most situations.
I appreciate the feedback from the community and am deciding to either close or shift the focus of my site. I'm glad I sought council from those wiser than I before uploading anything onto a public site that could have done any harm to the vaping community, and ultimately world health (big picture).

I think it is wise to close it. Last thing anyone wants it this to be used to harm the e-cig community especially while we are trying to gain main streem acceptance
Wise Decision I know it was all in fun, but it probably would have done more harm than good.
To get back to the fun part. Vaping while pumping gas is always fun. I don't have any pics of it but the looks you can get are certainly photo worthy. LOL
PS - I only did this a couple times when I first started. Just to see the looks. I think it is inappriate only because of the negative impact on vaping. Sort of the same type of negative impact you all were talking about with the name of this site.
