This happened a few years ago before e-cigs were well established and recognizable. Walking in to Miami International Airport a few years ago with a friend and I was vaping on a regular 808 e-cig with the red light on the tip. We were barely twenty feet in to the terminal when no less than 4 airport security officers approached us and asked me to put out that cigarette. I immediately responded "No problem" and, to their wide eyed amazement, proceeded to "crush" the "lit" end of the cigarette in the palm of my hand. They looked like 4 deers stuck in headlights! LOL

Of course, a ton of questions followed but it was all in good fun and I actually convinced one of them to try vaping and give up analogs. :)

Had the same kind of experience back in the mid 80's. Of course there were no ecigs back then but the Japanese had what were called Pipo - no nic or smoke but they had flavor and looked like a real cig - tip was done up to look like ash and had a red glow coloring. Was waiting for my turn at the counter, hear a knocking on the window from the security room, look over and the guard is making all kinds of hand motions. I hold up the Pipo and point at it, he nods, I stub it into my hand - the look of shock on the old guy was priceless, then I got a bit worried cause he looked like he might have a heart attack. Then he realized what it was and started laughing. Other folks there got a big kick out of it.

Thank you! :)

I wonder what the kids watch on Youtube etc.... probably would offend me if I did an OTS on them.... :)

Im sorry i dont have any funny pics to share....

I can only leave you with the story of a man who had to hop on one leg across the bedroom because his bare foot found the missing coil he had built for his patriot rba, dropped and lost

I can't even tell you how many times that's happened when clipping off my leads. I can never find them if they fly off the table, but my foot seems to find them a few days later *ouch* xD

I bought a pair of nail clippers I use specifically for trimming leads, and I put a small magnet on the side of it to catch the bits of wire. It has greatly reduced the incidences of punctured toes under my desk.

Same. I have one of the magnets used for the Chi You switch mod on the bottom around the pin. Magnetizes the front area of the clippers so that pesky wire stays put rather then flying off when you clip them. ;-)

I was returning a rental car at a very small airport today. Of course, I had been vaping at my leisure in the car, especially forthe 3 hour drive back to the airport... so much so, I only realized I was blowing clouds in the car while driving in the car return lot after passing right in front of the rental agency office window when a woman (also returning a car) was looking straight at me from ~20 feet. I can't say she really saw inside the car and I wasn't charged any extras, but reality hit me very suddenly.
