Vaping in NYC today

Vaped in Times Square and 9-11 memorial site today. I saw one construction worker near the 9-11 memorial vaping a black 510
I did not see anyone else vaping... You think I would with the amount of people in those areas. Saw too many people to count smoking the nasties and to me now after a year of vaping it smells like crap. I vaped away and one person looked at me with curiosity but he did talk to me. I still feel like a weirdo vaping and I know I shouldn't but I feel like an outcast while the regular nasties smokers look normal. I searched on my iPhone for a ecig store but found none on google. Where are all the vapers? I still vaped and enjoyed it even if people watched or looked at me funny.

I've yet to see anyone vaping in NYC yet but oddly enough my roomate (who doesn't smoke or vape) sees them all the time when he's out and about.

I've seen people post a few times about there not being a B&M in NYC. You would think that they would, with all those people. Little bity PC, FL has 3 now!

I was there on a beautiful day in October. I looked for other vapers in the wild, alas nary a one did I see. We had coffee in an outside seating area and I was vaping away. A couple sitting quite near me gave me a couple of looks but nothing was said. After a while, I guess when there was no odor nor any funny behavior from me, it was just normal activity.

I thought it was strange also not seeing one in the wild since that city is so diverse.

I was near Grand Central last week and saw some dude whip out a silver bullet. My jaw pretty much dropped.

I was there yesterday, vaping away as I walked down the street. I was near NYU and then up at Rockefeller Center to see the tree and the nearby displays. Didn't see anyone vaping, but no one gave me any strange looks either. Saw lots of people smoking tobacco, though.

For all the people that are on forums that vape and all of the folks at vapemeets one would think that there would be more in the wild.
But then....bathrooms are a favorite stealth vaping spot..check it out

On a more serious note, the only vapers I see are myself and the people at the vape store I go to in N.Dakota

NYC vaper here. Very rarely see people vaping. Most people have the low-end store bought ecigs with the lights on the end. Closest B&M is out in Jamaica queens.

Definitely seems odd considering smokes are $12 to $15 per pack. You would think people would wise up a bit. I've turned my co-worker on to an ego twist with clearos. Using a reo grand and mini 2.0 myself. The only people who ask about the reos are people I meet at underground parties.

25% of the US population smokes. I'd have to guess only 2% of the US population vapes. your gonna be lucky if you find someone vaping out in the wild. Unless you live in an area where there is a brick and mortar near by.

it's like when you lose your keys in your house. When you don't need em they are right in front of you. When you lose them and go looking for them, they are nowhere to be found. My keys always end up under a slice of toast or inside my microwave when I lose them. ?!?!??!? dunno why...

I think analogs are still perceived by college aged kids as more hip than PVs because they are young and healthy but once they get older and the chronic health probs start piling up... Personally I think vaping's going to take off in a big way in a few years barring any govt shenanigans. It'll eventually be cooler vape than smoke. More younger celebs taking it up would help.

Hope so! I think I'm going to start moving down to 0 nic though. Vaping might be better than smoking but NO nicotine throughout the day is best. I'll maybe use nicotine on lunch breaks at work on particularly hard days, and maybe when I get home from work to relax. Thats it!
