so me and my two guy friends get hungry go to steak and shake i ordered a double bacon steakburger with fries being as its been a loooonnnggg time since ive been im done with my entire plate and the both of them are still eating

i see a wtf look on the waitresses face and i tell her its an electric cigarette but she knew what it was being that we were less then a mile from the mall selling those damned smoking everywhere overpriced low end models.....

anyways

i explain to her that my battery broke and i made a new one and she goes oh in a way that makes me out to seem ......ed and then walked away

the next waitress walks up in another 30 seconds thats cool what is that i exhaled again woooahh so i did the same its an e cig i modded it blah blah its safe i can use it in here dont worry she gave an ok but said her manager had been watching me closely so she walk off i continue vaping away 20 seconds later the manager walks up

this parts pisses me off

i get a 5 foot 5 petite 20 something year old latin female manager who speed walks to my booth and bends over IN MY FACE and with out even asking says im sorry but your going to have to put that out its illegal to smoke in here!

imagine a red flashlight with a black atty sticking out of it

so she stands there for maybe 10 seconds while i make my mod clearly viewed and hold my hand and and fakely bump it against my hand a few times so she can see it saying i cant put out what isnt lit

and she repeated herself only in a more rude harsh tone this time and walked away

..........................................my freinds tell me **** that its not illegal and people need to know so i switched over to some puresmoker pina colada and continue vaping away as we sat then continued as we were paying and there was a cop sitting next to a father and his small child and i stood no more than 5 feet away from the group as we were paying and the police officer said nothing but i heard the man ask if i was smoking and the manager came over and told me i wasnt allowed to smoke that in here once again i looked over and saw a half smile on the cops face let another plume of smoke out and walked away........... great expierience

oh allmost forgot i left an e smokey treats buisiness card taped to the register during all of this next to all of the other buisiness cards

Yeah...with represntatives like this out there, how could anyone have a problem with vapors. Not exactly the way to get people that aren't used to seeing ecigs on our side. Next time maybe you can vape while flipping them off and raping their kitten.

i dont find rape to be a funny thing theres nothing really rude about this story at all if you had noticed i was nice as to explaining the technology to the two waitresses to which both of them knew what it was i wasnt being a phallus or anything like that i was loading up my carts and vaping not shoving pies in everyones faces man thatd be a waste of pie and if you noticed i was saying that the manager was about the same age range as me and she was being rude and ignorant to the existence of the technology completly treating it as if it were a real ciggarette and ignoring the blatant red and black shiny thing in front of her face with vapor not smoke coming out of it and i studied psychology for quite some time as a hobby and paid close attention the cop had a happy not a smirking ...... off im going to shoot this kid and shove that thing down his throat smile on his face did you think he knew and didnt care and that the manager didnt really deserve my acknowledgement of being 6 inches from my face yelling at me like a school child to STOP SMOKING ahem vaping not smoking and given the fact that i was litereally less than a mile away from the mall with smoking everywhere guys all around you know what everyone should get the point of what im trying to say im not gonna waste my time explaining this

I know you don't think that you were in the wrong (that's obvious) and there will be no convincing you otherwise. BUT if you want to make a better impression in the future, I would recommend that when somebody in charge of a business asks you not to do something in their establishment...don't do it. By all means, explain what it is and even demonstrate what it is if there is interest but if you are still told not to do it in their business, then stop. That would be a lot more likely to result in them maybe becoming interested after a first impression rather than annoyed and probably turned off by them forever. By continuing to vape after your told that it's not allowed (not talking legally...it's the business' choice) you and your pv are now remembered as a bad incident. If you asked somebody not to do something in your business and they continued to blatantly do it anyway, would you think
A) They have shown me the light...I was wrong
or
B) What a ****

I'm w/ Lifelong on this. though WE appreciate the idea of vaping is better for US, therw really has not been confirmed studies of second-hand vape. We ALL need to understand this and NOT push the boundries of law, because, honestly, you can NOT prove otherwise.

So basically, my friend, it sounds like you did this out of, "Hey, look at me - there ain't a damn thing you can do about it." But, you'ed be wrong; where is YOUR "scientific" proof?

Not to mention a 11 second hit from a magnum mod. And a 7 second exhale. You were wanting a reaction. If you vape it normal then nothing probably would have been said. I have vaped in wal-mart, dunkin donuts, several restaurants. The only place that has said anything was Dominoes Pizza. I showed it to the manager and his response OK just dont do it around other customers. I was there 30 minutes waiting on order if someone came in I stopped vaping. Even had one customer ask manager what that delightful peach smell was. He just kinda grinned looked at me and smiled.

I would like to vape anywhere and everywhere...but even more, I would like to still be allowed to vapesomewhere. Good relations with people that are unfamiliar with our little tools is extremely important right now

again.. I use the excuse that it is a medicine dispenser.. No one questions that. I worked in a restaurant in CA, the managers were insane about no smoking even near the doors/windows/ect... But we had a customer that came in every week or so ,who would give himself insulin shots in plain view. NO ONE ever said anything, kinda a strange sight to see.. and a bit more disturbing at a restaurant.. Acting like you are ill and the vapor is deriving medicine invokes a "foot in mouth" reaction from the idiot giving you the problems...
