I vape in my car. I generally use my ProVari. I am not one to be concerned with crazy looks so I don't really care if the guy at the light next to me looks at me funny. I vape happily.

We were talking about this in another thread earlier today. I dont understand the whole "I dont take my mod out with me". I think we should vape the best we have all the time" This will help educate those who are curious. How many smokers try a crappy disposable and give up on e-cigs immediately. I say let people know there are plenty of options. I dont change a thing, whether it be in the car, out shopping or walking the dogs. I carry a VV ego in my gear just in case of something disasterous happened to my Provari, but have never needed to use it. To each their own, just my :2c:

It doesn't concern the law at all, but i just think it's kinda funny that my ex said for a while after beginning vaping that she would still smoke cigarettes in the car because it was too much trouble to fiddle with the vaporizer while driving.

"Huh?," I'd say. "You know there's at least twice as much fiddling with cigarettes, right? I mean c'mon. You have to open the pack. God forbid you're pulling out the first cigarette in the pack. (I'm sure we all know what a PITA it can be to unwedge the first one.) Then find which pocket has your lighter. Then you have to take at least one hand and both eyes off the wheel, both if there's a breeze to block the flame, and stare at the tip of the ciggy to make sure you're lighting the right spot. Then crack the window and make sure your ashes are going in the right place. Dammit if a hot ash or smoke blows in your eyes; or if you drop a lit cigarette in the car somewhere. Then you have to extinguish the cig when you're done with it. So tell me, in what way is picking up a vaporizer, pushing a button, and inhaling harder than smoking?"

She had no answer. I think she was just trying to justify still smoking cigarettes and wasn't quite ready to fully let them go at the time.

Hell, IMO smoking is one of the most dangerous activities one can do while driving. Vaping only takes one hand.

And regarding the law, I don't see any cops interpreting the law word for word to write someone using a ticket for vaping. And I don't see a judge following through with the charge. ...unless you're a punk and give them an attitude about it. Then you'll serve jail time or community service picking butts off the highway for vaping and driving.

I vape in my car. the only thing is turn your head when exhale cuz the smoke might block your vision.

Thats the only issue ive ever had while car vaping. Got used to it after a few days though. Found out rebuildables are a big no while vaping in the car - leaked juice all over my interior.

First issue, falling asleep - I change to a 0 nic mixture about an hour before bed so I can fall asleep and it works really well.

Okay, that's my input.

However, never keep your PV in your mouth when crossing railroad tracks unless you have some kind of soft tip thing that your teeth won't mind (or maybe that's just me - I've noticed a lot of things are "just me").

and I never worried about the local constabulary until I learned that "other" stuff could be used in similar devices that I didn't know existed (I've gotten so old that I'm now out of a loop that I didn't know existed)

given enough time people will find uses for these to do other stuff. i'm not so out of the loop to realize this. on the other side of the coin i am using my unit to stop another smoking habit of mine. (doctor prescribed, and legal to possess in my state.)besides my cig score, i have a new score to keep track of. 19 days/1140, and 2 days completely combustion free. no i don't use my vaporizer to ingest it. i am using it as a replacement. these devices have unlimited potential for addiction therapy. so many applications for replacement therapy where smoking of other substances is involved.
