I do. For long trips, I have an adapter to go from the "cigarette lighter" (which wasn't even included with my car, just the port for it!) to USB. In my case, I use a Volt X2 and plug in after some interval during the trip. eGo passthroughs would work the same way.
I try not to continuously charge an already charged battery as it induces voltage stresses on it and shortens the life. So I'm only tethered in part of the time, the rest of the time I'm using the battery.
Now that you mention it, mine only came with the port, too. It even has a port cover.![]()

I want to point out that there is a certain danger vaping in the car. Imagine accidently rear ending a car or being hit yourself. If you are in the middle of a vape or holding it the wrong (or right) way, you might end up losing more than your teeth.
