Vaping in the heat/car

I quit smoking a month ago thanks to vaping and recently bought a Zmax with a tank/cartomizer. This works great when I'm INSIDE and prime the cartomizer correctly (still working on the cartomizer part but getting better).

But, when I leave the house my cartomizer is clogging up in my pocket walking around and in the car as well (even with the a/c going). Should I be using something different than a tank/cartomizer when leaving home to prevent this? I put the zmax in the cupholder when in the car so it's reasonably upright so it's got to be the heat. I take it with me into stores, etc when I leave the car so it's not due to it being left outside. I do work at home so everything is great while at home and now I need a reliable vape when on the road. Any assistance is appreciated!

What kind of a mix/juice are you using? I've been carrying my carto/battery loose in a pocket all summer and not noticed any issues regardless of weather, humidity, etc, and I'm vaping a fairly dark-colored juice, not sure how 'heavy' it is but I'd imagine it's fairly thick. If anything I notice it's easier to vape in the heat, the liquid seems to loosen up and give me a better hit if I go for a walk as opposed to sitting in my A/Ced room. Also could maybe be related to the tank, no experience there unfortunately..

I've got Halo Tribeca and around 4 separate flavors from madvapes. I was at the madvapes store today and it worked great. Within probably 10 minutes of being in the car it was gurgling

I may be wrong, but I think the gurgling is from condensation, going from dry a/c to humid heat. This happened to me the other day, and a few nice long slow hits stopped the gurgling, for me anyway.

What kind of cartomizer are you using? Is it a tank system? Gurgling usually means that liquid got into the center hole. When this happens, try taking the carto or tank off the device and blow it out and do a dry hit or two.

Yeah, using a tank system. I tried it again today but got no gurgling. I made sure the tank was FULL so that even if it tipped to the side that no addl liquid could get into the carto holes. I've also ordered a holster to keep it upright and will see how it goes.

usually when you get gurgling it means the cartomizer has a little to much juice inside of it. when that happens you can just blow into the cartomizer(not so rough) just enough to get the excess juice back into the tank then you should be golden

consider getting a case to hold your e-cig while it's in your pocket. i ended up getting a case because my e-cig was getting scratched up in the same pocket with my keys so this is what i got to protect it: Apollo Jewel Case for Standard Kit

maybe check and see if your brand offers a similar contraption. it might be just the solution for you.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I think with my getting better at filling cartomizers now and the holster I ordered to keep it upright that things will get better. I also ordered an ecig holder on ebay that attaches to the car and holds it upright during transit. All these things and never leaving it in the car will hopefully be the answer. I'll keep reporting back

how do you currently fill your cartomizers?

I fill down the sides while rotating and making sure not to get liquid into the center hole. Fill awhile, shake it and repeat until a drop comes out the bottom. Once that's done I blow into the carto a few times and test it to make sure there's no gurgling or resistance. Then it's ready to go.

have you ever tried using the condom fill method? <---that method seemed to work better for me less time consuming
