Hello,
I am currently writing, just finished the rough draft, a research paper for school. For the paper I made an interview with a friend and a vape shop worker about vaping and smoking. Here is the interview, was wondering what you guys thought/if there are any other questions you think I should add.

MR: To start please introduce yourself.

LP: My name is Lucas P and I work in a local vape shop.

EL: My name is Eric L, I smoked for two years and vaping for one year.

MR: I know you work in a vape shop, but what is your stance on electronic cigarettes?

LP: I advocate the use of electronic cigarettes and vapes as an alternative to traditional cigarettes.

EL: I’m all for vaping, vaping has given me back what I lost cause of cigarettes.

MR: How did you get involved with vaping?

LP: Eric took me to the shop one day.

EL: My friends mother was a smoker for a long time, after being sick of slowing killing myself I decided to change that. I talked to her about it and explained the basics of a quick lay out of how vaping works. Couple months later after grabbing a little Evod starter kit and from there it’s been a part of me since.

MR: Did you find that vaping helped you quit?

EL: Without a doubt, it was the reason why I quit.

MR: Tell me what you know about vaping? What’s the difference between what they contain?

LP: Cigarettes contain so many nasty, artificial chemicals that aren’t found in vapes. Whereas cigarettes have a near unlimited amount of toxic chemicals, vapes only contain food grade vegetable glycerin, a sugar. It also contains food grade propylene glycol, a main ingredient in asthma inhalers. The flavouring is added using food grade natural and artificial flavouring to enhance the experience. It also contains various amounts of nicotine to help steer away from cigarettes. Propylene glycol also acts as a refurbisher for the fibers in your lungs that could have been previously destroyed from smoking.

MR: As somebody who previously smoked do you notice a difference in price, have you saved money by switching to vapes. According to Time Magazine vapes are forty percent cheaper, would you agree with this?

EL: Well, on my journey on quitting I did save money. The more and more I got into the competitive side of vaping I had to spend the extra to have the best quality.

MR: Is there anything else you would like to add about vaping?

LP: Don’t legislate vaping as it poses a serious risk to the business, it’s helping people healthier that and shouldn’t be stopped by corporations trying to make more money.

EL: Don’t knock it till you try it. There are hundreds of people out there trying to quit smoking due to vaping, and I hope hundreds more can be saved.

MR: Thank you for your time.

LP: No worries.

EL: My pleasure
