Vaping is changing my voice as a never-smoker. Anyone else?

Nope, doesn't look like it.
I have yet to see anything on ED.....But it makes sense, who is brave enough to ask!?.....But I do await Smilin Bob to claim his juice has made him a happy guy!

I agree with Triple777, for me anyway. No matter how much water I drink the back of my throat is still dry and my voice get scratchy. I've found that drinking milk helps (also eating yogurt). Dairy products increase the mucus. Not great for singing, but I've found it helps with my throat getting dry. FOR ME - YMMV.

Smoked for decades. Last 5-10 yrs. people were calling me "Mr." over the phone. Noticed 6 mos. into vaping my voice tone was higher. Not near as high as when I was much younger, but definitely higher and not "gravely" anymore. Can also talk at length without coughing or feeling a tightening of my throat. Can now have a full on belly laugh without coughing.......Still can't sing worth a darn! :)

At 50 I don't notice any change in my voice but I don't hear very well. I blame boom boxes and rock and roll of the 70s for that.

One thing that will happen is you will start noticing different things happening and will think it all has to do with vaping. I did.

Don't sweat it mate. If something is serious a doctor is your best bet. ECF does a great job too, but they are all individual opinions.

One thing I will say. 2014 was the first year in my life I did not have a sinus infection. I would get some bad one 3 to 4 times a year where I couldn't get out of bed let alone figure out where the bathroom was. It was nice to say the least.

If you can't sing then dance. It is what I do:thumbs:

He has never smoked, yet is vaping. So that isnt it, yeah I dont get it either, clean air is so much better so why vape.
Many reasons but there is another thread on it. One could relate as one is healthy why get out of bed in the morning. I prefer to live life and will enjoy every step I take. A vape helps as does a beer or coffee. It make the stressful world we live in just a little easier.

Well in a way it does when compared to smoking. If smoking leads to reduced fertility and risk of miscarriage, stands to reason that vaping could actually lead to viable pregnancy. :D

You mean... my vaping could make my girlfriend pregnant???? Perhaps 0 PG reduces the chances of her getting pregnant??
