Amen..... I was "fixing what wasn't broke" on the weekend, and suddenly a perfectly good coil was popped lol. Oh well, it was good practice and didn't take me long to replace it. But yes..... don't fix what ain't broke! ;)

Once I get a good coil going I won't even pop the cap off to look at it. Just in case it gets scared and shorts out

2012/12/16 18:38 VANCOUVER Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing

Does anyone know how long this 'step' in shipping usually takes? It hasn't changed since that last update.

For me it took 3 days to get to greater toronto area...
(I don't think the dates are accurate though - all I know is I ordered Friday and got it thurs the week after)

Still no movement for my package stuck in Customs, but I did get a nice little care package from FunkyVapes today! Thanks a lot Funky! Think I'll try to find time to get the Phoenix set up to my satisfaction today. We'll see how time plays out.

And yes folks.... that is a little cut-out heart as a "spool" for the wire. TOO CUTE!! ♥

Let it rain PLUID!!!

Guess they start trickling in from today. Hope everyone gets theirs!

Had to make a detour on the way home to pick it up. Went in with a friend but he bailed so I now have 100ml to myself.
Offered to leave a couple of ml's but he refused because he's afraid he might like it :) (Plus, he's fixated on the full strength version)

Christmas Vape mail tally: 2 down, one more to go...

edit: cooking dinner didn't help - the wife flipped out when I told her that little green bottle cost $70 :(

Parkes Vaping, fuZion Vapor and Canvape. I've got a lot of tasting to do. Thankfully I have a bunch of new bridgeless three hole and four hole atomizers as well as some 306s to try. So far I've only tried the Unicorn Blood from fuZion and it is yummy.

Yesterdays sneaker-net bagged me 12 samples from Maple Leaf Vapes.

Sorry to hear about the spousal difficulties. I'm on a fixed vaping budget every month, so it's almost impossible for me to overspend.

But enough about that... congrats on the Pluid! Mine's entered a black hole somewhere outside LA. I'm hoping it'll find its way here before too long.

Nothing yesterday, but Monday I got a bunch of goodies. 30ml of Kringle Kokoa from Indigo Vapor (a little Christmas present from him), and from Canvape I bought a Vamo, a couple of the Efest 18350s, another T2 with some heads, Vivi Nova (for the brother-in-law), a few flavourings (for friends, because I didn't have any of those particular flavours on hand and it was convenient), and possibly one or two other little things, and had included a Spinner and some T3s for review. (Really like the Spinner, still undecided about the T3, it hasn't broken in yet.)

I was totally turned off by clearos from the first run of stardusts and I purchased a T3 to try out and now I have 15 of them. I was very impressed by the performance of them.

Well, I haven't vaped a lot through mine yet -- 0.8ml by my reading -- and it seems like it's starting to break in at this point so I'll keep puffing away at it and see how it goes. The wicking has improved at least -- couldn't vape it beyond 4V or it would get dratty, but it's handling 4.4V right now pretty well. Just waiting for the flavour to start popping. (I get hints now, but it's got a way to go yet.)

These things were weird though. I spent a couple minutes trying to wrench off the mouthpiece before I had a good look at it and realized it fills from the bottom. I think I like that idea, except for the not being able to use my aluminium T mouthpieces on them thing.
