Interested to know what strength you vape at?

Ive be heard some people chain vape for other an hour!

A friend of mine has recommended I should only vape at the times I crave cigarettes and vape at the back door as that's my usual smoking spot otherwise it will end up with me constantly thinking about vaping 24/7.

He started vaping indoors and said he now chain vapes whilst taking a bath!

Would you say your your need and time you vape is more than when you used to smoke the analogues?

Also I quite question. Do you think vaping on 6mg for half an hour straight could cause nicotine overdose? I'm a 20 roll up a day smoker.

Your nicotine absorption is very different vaping. Smoking is like taking straight shots of whiskey, neat, while vaping is more like slowly sipping a nice pint of bitters...:vapor:

6 mg for a 1/2 hour vape will not cause an overdose, may even be a bit low for a 20 a day smoker. If you are getting headaches, hiccups, nausea while vaping, you might be getting too much nic. The easy solution for such, put your PV down for an hour or two...drink some water. Your body will let you know if you're getting too much nicotine...:)

I chain Vape 6mg all day everyday. No problems at all. I go through 10 to 12ml of juice a day. My husband Vapes just as much at 18mg. He has no problems. I was vaping 18mg, but lowered to 6mg just so I could Vape whenever I want. Vaping is much more enjoyable than smoking...and much tastier! :p

I vape 6mg and i have the ecig in hand almost all day long. Some days i can put it down and other days i chain vape. Started at 18 and down to 6 in 3 months. I got headaches for about 2 weeks and it wasn't because of nicotine overdose but withdrawals from quitting everything else in cigarettes. If your heart starts to race then stop vaping for a bit and drink lots of water.

I vape about the same as i did smoking. The difference is i don't need to light up as soon as i wake up.

I vape whenever I want.....dont really keep track. I don't set aside 20 - five/six minute sessions as I did when I smoked (thats two hours a day just smoking, btw) but vape a couple of times,1 to 3.....put it down.....vape......propably more in the long run but its all very quick "sessions"

People start chain vaping just because they can.
Over time their body gets used to the bigger amount of nicotine, then they need to chain vape.
At work i consider vaping like smoking meaning i go out to vape every hour or so for a few minutes, at home i vape when i feel like it but i'm not a chain vaper.
Don't worry about an overdose, you would start to feel really sick long before you get there.

I vaped 24mg for 3 years or so before I started buying juices with lower nic content. I didn't notice much of a change in my vaping frequency when I dropped. I adjusted quickly. I've leveled off to somewhere around 6mg to 8mg nic.

Most of us grab our PV when we move. Mine is in my pocket or sitting next to me all day. I agree that it's a hand to mouth habit as much as it's an addiction to nicotine. I enjoy inhaling and exhaling all day long and my ecig is like a constant hobby.

If you can develop a satisfactory routine of vaping periodically and having to go and get your PV to vape, then that may be a good thing. We would all be better off with fewer outside chemicals introduced into our bodies. Vaping is better than smoking. Not vaping at all is better than vaping constantly, but the general consensus is that vaping isn't something that will significantly shorten our lives like smoking.

Usually, but there are exceptions, for a new vaper, if you are vaping constantly it means your nicotine level is too low. As Stosh indicated, vaping is less efficient in getting nicotine into your system. Most new vapers use/need 18mg - 24mg nic eliquid to make the transition. If that level is too high for you, you will get symptoms like a headache. If not, you should be fine and not feel the need to vape constantly.

I vape sooooo much more than I ever smoked. My nic level is low (6 mg), but the problem for me was not overdosing on nic, it was that chain vaping caused my body to need to chain vape all day every day to prevent headaches from withdrawal. But I guess thats just the nature of the beast...can't win them all. I'd rather have that issue with vaping than with cigarettes.

I vape a lot all day because I am home (retired) and can. The thing I notice is that although I vape a lot (I have 4 different juices in front of me right now), when I am off running errands or whatever I don't crave my vape like I craved cigs. I started a 12 mg and recently dropped down to 6 mg and notice absolutely no difference, so I don't think we are as "hooked" on nicotine as we were on all the stuff in cigs. I basically vape for the flavors.

I vape all day long but I feel like I don't vape any more than I was smoking. I take a toot here and there when I feel like it.. when I'm at work and I get a "vape break" I chain vape for 5 minutes, but that's about it really. other than that it's a couple here set it down for 20 minutes, a couple there set it down for 30 minutes. a couple then ten minutes... You get what I'm saying.

but that's just me. That was my routine, smoke whenever, wherever. If your routine was to go to the back door then do that.

I never was a chain smoker per say. I did smoke a second cigarette from time to time when I knew I wouldn't have a cigarette for a long time. Vaping, however, I have changed my habbits a bit. I do chainvape on ecigs. I am down to 6mg, but for a while, I was chainvaping 18 mg and 12 mg. It's actually cut down on a few other bad habbits as well. To keep a taste in my mouth, I would have to be munching or something, or drinking something. Now, I drink flavored water or Cool-aid a bit more, and my muching habbits have went down dramatically.

chainvaping 6mg for 1/2 should not overdose on you.. if it has, then I've overdosed probably 5 times already just today. :)
