Hi all,
I would still consider myself somewhat newer to vaping.....and was a 1 1/2 - 2 pack a day smoker. I am now down to about 3 cigs daily, with vaping. But my only minor "concern" is that I find myself vaping ALOT more than I ever smoked! Just wanted to know if anyone else is doing the same.......and what peoples outlook on this is. Should I be trying to cut down my vaping intake, or just keep on vaping on, if it keeps me from smoking!? I am not getting any side effects or anything, but just want to make sure I'm not the only one doing this...

little personal info:
I was vaping a 18 nic on a regular ego battery daily, and once I upgraded to a Mod, I cut down to 12 nic juices as I realized I was "over-vaping", if you will. I just cant put it down!

As long as you're not getting sick or headaches (nic-overdose) I say go for it. I quit smoking 109 days ago, where I have had 3 analogs in that time frame, I pretty much have a mod with me at all times. Sometimes I'll just relax and vape while I surf the web, do school work or play xbox.

My wife calls my mods my new apendages since they are always attached to me LOL, and I noticed I vape A LOT more than I smoked, but only hit it really hard when a nic craving hits.

HI uber vaper lol ..
Yeah, I think that many of us have done the same thing. Vaping is so easy, kind of fun, no flame, no ashtray, billows of favpor, no worries about burn marks in the furniture and so forth. I also was concerned about nicotine over dose .. or becoming more attracted / addicted to nicotine. I was two packs of analogs a day and more. I started with 24% . moved quickly to 18% and found a vaper lounge where I now dropped down to 11% and doing about a ml to 2mls a day max. I've tried to wean back from the tobacco flavors with success. I found butterscotch, caramel, and other mixes to be quite satisfactory but I do have a row of clearomizers < 4 > to change up from my daily vape of a Kanger mini pro II. I prefer the bottom coil, bottom refil tank. It's a cooler vape, easy change of replaceable coils and as you go .. don't throw out anything ... You may find it useful in the future.
Lots to learn but it's a fun ride.
Blessings and joy on your journey,
Bliss

It's pretty normal/common. Don't over do it on the nic and you'll be fine. For some they find upping the nic level reduces their vaping because they are getting their fix others it's just a fun thing and so they do it more. I for one vape more than I smoke but that's because I can ;)

Good job on being down to only 3 a day. I'm still at less than a pack but that's better than the 2+ packs a day I was smoking. I just started vaping again during the holiday's and I plan to stick with it this time around.

I wouldn't worry about over vaping... When it's a new thing everyone vapes a lot!

For me my vaping has naturally slowed down a bunch from I first started. Even if it doesn't scale back it's still WAY better for you then smoking.

Find a setup that is satisfying and you might even find that you prefer it to smoking.

I vape 24mg and I don't really have any plans to cut the mg. I find that I take way fewer puffs over the day and don't have the desire to vape as much because each puff at the higher nicotine is pretty satisfying.

Nicotine isn't the bad stuff from smoking... it's the burning leaves that produce all the nasty chemicals.

I thought the same thing when I started. (I was a 2PAD smoker.) Then I realized... no I wasn't actually vaping more than smoking, it just seemed that way. Here's what I mean: If I smoked my usual brand and took as many puffs as I thought I was doing vaping, I would be as sick as I got first smoking as a kid. I think it just seems that I vape more because the setup is usually in my hand or close by and I take puffs intermittently which is not the way I smoked which was lighting up and never laying the smoke down until it was burned up. We had a pack of smokes to tell use how much we were smoking but have only our bodies and setup puff counters to tell us with vaping. But even with puff counters one would have to sit and smoke to see how many puffs they took doing that for comparison.... so I let my body be my guide.

My opinion? Don't worry about vaping, you'll know when it's too much - the atypical symptoms are feeling queasy, or a headache starts. (And, it's in no way even close to the levels needed to be officially poisoned by nicotine.)

If anything, you'll probably vape a LOT more once you drop the real cigs. It's FINE. It will taper off over time. Just remember, the health risks from gaping are almost nonexistent compared to smoking - vaping all day at 18mg, if that's what you need to get off smokes, will be no more harmful to you (I believe) than drinking a couple more cups of coffee than you normally do.

If you're constantly vaping at 18, then I suspect strongly that you need to up your nicotine to 24mg, to get to a state of sated, and being able to put it down for a bit. There's no shame or guilt in vaping 24mg, it's not like smoking that much, not at all. You also need to learn where your body is satisfied, and with a new, cleaner level of nicotine, not the artificially induced levels that cigarettes create (they put things in cigarettes to make the nicotine absorb faster, which means the body wants more, sooner) Since you're still smoking, you're feeding your inflated satiation levels, so of course you're vaping a lot.

tldr version: vape away, it's fine, it's so much less harmful for you than smoking - whatever it takes to get off cigs, DO IT.

Guilty as charged lol. I have only been vaping for 3 weeks but everything I do now is one handed as I have my PV with me all of the time! I vape 2.5-3ml a day which may not be as much as some however, I am taking pulls all day long. Like others have said it is easy and convenient plus this juice tastes so damn good. It is hard to put down! I would say if it is keeping you from smoking an analog and you are not feeling sick, then vape on.
