Hello again,
It's been 3 weeks since I quit smoking, and became a full time vaper. Let me start off by saying I do feel better in almost every way. No lingering tobacco smell, sense of taste is WAY better, I can smell things now, smells I didn't even know where there. However, one thing that I don't like is the nicotine buzz, I can only get two draws and experience that nicotine rush before I start feeling lightheaded and generally, rather sick. Am I doing something wrong ? I chain vape on 12 mg juice, Liqua Brand, and Nobacco (a greek brand) sometimes I mix 0g and 12mgs and vape on 6 or 8 but still I don't get the same pleasure/relaxation as I used to get with smoking rollies, cigarillos, or nasty nasty cigarettes.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The only two options i can think of are to not chainvape as long or to play with the nic strength til you find the sweetspot. what equipment are you using?

Nautilus Mini Tank, with a regular egoc battery.

EDIT: I used to chain smoke until I was satisfied with the rush, now I chainvape but can't get that same satisfaction, though I really do crave more than 2 draws.

I had problems getting nic-sick easily when I first started. I would suggest that you vape through the withdrawal-- depending on the situation, 0mg and 3mg and 6mg. I think there are other substances in the burning tobacco that protect vulnerable people from those problems. You can make the transition-- I used tubes and loose tobacco, even recycled my butts (Gaack!). It sounds strange, but it does happen. I chain-vape at 3mg, maybe 15 ml a day, and do fine, now. I am satisfied-- just remember that the motor part is a major part of the addiction. You can do it!!

I agree with T4T3Z0, slow down on the chain-vaping or lower your nic level.

In my experience, the better, more powerful the gear, the more you need to dial down the nic. I've found that 6mg is perfect for what I'm using. I have one Erlkönigin filled with 8mg and after two or three drags in row, I can definitely feel the difference so I slow down a little.

Just like with everything else in life, moderation is the key. Hope you find your sweet spot and stay off the stinkies.

Unfortunately, I have no money to buy more powerful gear, I could try lowering my nic levels. Do you happen to know the perfect level for my setup ?

I couldn't help but laugh at the fact you recycled your butts, I did so once and the taste was horrifying, but I still don't quite get your advice, vape more or less ?

Vape very low or no nic to your heart's content. Also, dramamine might help you get over the hump-- the problem is very much like motion sickness.

I'm already hooked on one drug, I really don't want to take a combo to get the same pleasure. I especially however don't want to go back to inhaling a combination of 100.000 chemicals to feel the nicotine. Any healthier alternatives ? I heard drinking a lot of water helps, but up until now it only helped with my ecig associated dehydration/

That is an indicator to step down.

For example, if I vape 18mg I can only do it about 3 draws every 50 minutes. If I vape 12mg...well, it is almost glued to my mouth.

adjust yourself that way. When you do step down, you will probably vape a little more for a week or three. But, for, I settle into the lower nic.

Hope helps

The meclizine formulation is technically an antihistamine, but it is used for nausea, dizziness, queasiness, and vomiting. It is available over-the-counter. It is not addictive in any way. It only reduces the displeasure of the symptoms.

The more fluids you take in, the better, especially when your body is getting used to the change. I suspect it helps flush out the toxins. Hot showers (or sauna, if you have that available) might help, too. Reducing salt, caffeine, and alcohol are also important, as well as maintaining stable blood sugar levels.

Have you thought about trying a WTA juice? It maybe just what you need to get satisfaction. I have never used it but I have read good things about it. This site was recommended to me by a friend that loves their products.

Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

I may look at things differently than most. But to me if you are not being totally satisfied or having any type of urges, I say go up on nic and if you are getting the amount you need to satisfy you, then you will not find the need to chain vape. I think vaping is absorbed so different than cigarettes. You just have to find what makes you happy. It has only been three weeks and it takes time for all those chemicals to get out of your system. I personally have never gotten what people call a buzz from vaping. I did get them when I was smoking. Of course I attribute that to the fact that I sleep very little so I am really vaping 20 hours a day. I use 24mg nic. I started out of 18 a year and a half ago.

I wish you well and I hope some of the suggestions here helps. Let us know how you are doing and what has worked for you. It could also help others and that is what ecf is all about. Good luck.

There's the problem.

Vaping 101: Vaping is not smoking. Vapor is not cigarette smoke. Two very different things. Two very different delivery systems in your body. If you are chasing after trying to make an e-cig into a cigarette like experience you will both be sadly disappointed and make yourself sick trying to do that. You cannot get a cigarette buzz from something that isn't... a cigarette.

The only person who can answer that is you. every persons body is different. i know thats probably not what you want to hear and might come off as unhelpful, but keep experimenting and youll get it. also as someone else suggested you might want to try WTA juice

I had to get the WTA juice to get through the switch. I could chain vape all day and still be twitchy. The WTA has the whole tobacco alkaloids that gave me the calm feeling I needed to get through the switch. I would add just a bit to my tank of regular juice and I wasn't vaping nearly as much and felt so much better. I only use it when I am feeling really twitchy and anxious now. (every few days) I don't think I will need it for the long term.

As others have said, you need to not think of vaping the same way as smoking, they are two different animals. :) Try to think it as an alternative, not a replacement.

Good luck finding what works for you.
