Hello, recently after trying a $10 disposable e-cig being sold at a local convenient store and being impressed with the results I finally decided to drop the analog habit and pick up vaping. So after a bit of research I picked up a Joye EGO Mega, this is the exact setup I ordered:

2 Joye EGO MEGA Manual Switch Battery - Matte Black
2 Joye EGO MEGA Blank Cartridges 5 pack
2 Joye EGO MEGA Low Resistance Atomizer - Matte Black
1 Joye EGO Rapid USB Charger

After doing a bit more reading on the forums I came across a post about the LR atty's not being very good for carty's, stating that they were better suited for dripping which would suggest that I should have ordered the Mega cartomizers and a drip tip instead of the cartridges.
Sort of my fault for being impatient and not doing more research but I was eager to get the analog monkey off my back.

Any feedback on this?

You may want to order some regular LR-510 Atty's or even better maybe some 2ohm LR 510 Atty's along with a couple of the longer style Delrin Drip Tips. Try the 2ohm cisco 510 its a good one, so is the Ikenvvape.com 2ohm 510, you will like these with those Batts, you can also use the newer Ego tank Atty's they just came out in an LR version and there pretty darn good. Hope that helps ya out a bit Silent Soldier.

Thank you all for the good suggestions.

@mwa102464 & glockshooter, I plan on trying different stuff and modding in the future and will definitely look into the suggestions you both made, particularly the cartomizers, but for right now I'm on an extremely tight budget and I'm stuck with what I got. I just hope it works ok. For the moment the only things I'm really concerned about is TH and nicotine, flavor and vapor cloud take an immediate back seat for the moment. But I got all of the stuff I need to make my own juice so I think that will just be a matter of finding the right PG/VG mix. I'm going to start out with a 50/50 ratio and see which way I need to adjust, if at all.

@Rosa I've been seeing some bad feedback on the tank systems so I'm reluctant to try them for now due to the low budget and all. But I've heard alot of good things about the EGO batts and they did seem quite versatile which is the exact reason I got them. Hopefully they'll last me a good long while.

I have been vaping for 2 and 1/2 months... have tried nearly everything... the tanks are awesome.. fill it up and vape away.. I have dripped low res cisco 306 attys 1.5 and 2.0 which fit the 510 threading.. Joytech LR attys... Cartomizers.. you name it.. Everything except a GG....
The Ego-T attys which you can buy to go with what you have... and the plastic tanks.. No jerking around with drip here drip there... and getting MONSTER hits with tons of vape... *correction is a little cooler than the LR attys.. but can put 28 drops in.. and vape most of the day.. Good luck to you and much success!

Thank you for the feedback frenchdude. I've been reading up a bit more on the tanks since making my initial post and it seems that the leaking problems I've been reading about in regards to the tanks may just be an issue with the pg/vg mix being too thin. It definitely warrants some experimentation in the future when my budget permits.

I would go along with mwa102464 and say that 510 Atty vapes great, you'll like it. I take it with me to the work and vape it in the car as well. You'll need a good solution for cleaning it. I am into steaming theme clean with a steam gun, or just soaking in grain alcohol. green smoke reviews Some people clean them with vinegar, but I think that that leaves a lingering vinegar taste.

Silent Soldier - I ordered the exact same thing back in January, around the 10th and have been using the LR attys since with no issues. Love the length of the batteries and the usb charger. Based on other people I expect my attys will need replacing soon but no issues so far (I do blow them out every day - as I saw on youtube before they arrived). In my opinion your kit was a great choice.

Hello Silent and welcome. I am hoping that you ordered some e-liquids as well. Just checking, but people have forgotten that before. BTW, noticed you are in St. Cloud, does Intercession City still exist?

Yep I ordered 30ml of juice plus enough DIY stuff to make at least a months worth of juice. I'm not sure what that Intercession City is, I'm still kinda new to St. Cloud.
