Yeah I now wish I'd avoided going outside & making it so obvious. Should have just used the bathroom instead. Yes she uses all sorts of breathing treatments, 2 different ones 4 times a day at different points, another one once a day. Many meds I crush & she eats with applesauce. She also has difficulty swallowing & spends much of her time worrying over this. She also uses a small dose of oxycodone probably 8 times a day (this will probably increase) usually surrounding transfer times from bed to commode to chair. It's a very sad deal. I will definitely check out the CASAA & print off some good material.
Greatest ideas here, thank you so much!!
Starlight, my doggie is Jake. We love him! Got him free, you know how those 'free' dogs can be?? Yeah... anyhow, he enriches my daughters & my life :) he was supposed to stay small, he's 120lbs of love! Yellow labs are just the most beautiful labs I think!

Shmoo, I've run into a problem at work as well. It was my own fault as I thought all was cool after 2 years of it. My mistake was when a fellow vaper came by during work and we were trying each others juice and we of course have mixed so many blends with vg and super flavor it not only smoked the room up but left the flavor SCENT which it does and one of my fellow workers had some sort of broncial problem and it caused her to miss a few days of work. She wasn't sure that was what caused it but I have to be sensitive to it. SO, I mixed up a batch of unflavored nic juice all pg and now stealth vape it at work and no one is the wiser. I must admit myself, if I spend much time around anyone wearing to much cologne or perfume It bothers me. Frankly I don't mind the unflavored so much as I'm getting tired of chasing flavor. Just mho.

So, my curious mind wants to ask a horrible question. Do you ever wish you can end it for her? I know it's no since you think she is trying to get one more Christmas. Just in general. I have friends in various fields of care but I feel I don't get an honest answer since we are friends, PM me if you don't want your answer public. It's just curiosity about human compassion, no judgement.

Sorry, I get distracted so easily... I meant to check back a week ago :)
An update in general, the subject has not come up again & I am completely stealthy now & take advantage of bathroom breaks! So that's pretty great, no harm, no foul.

Thank you Joeman for the thoughts! I just don't vape very much, a few puffs every couple hours. The unflavored nic juice is a great idea!

My mind goes to the idea the only way I would ever consider such a thing is if someone actually asked for my help to end it. And then, probably not. I think it's an interesting question.

It might not be a bad idea to reassure the daughter that you thought about her concern, and that you would be happy to forward her any information on its safety, and that you are taking meticulous precautions anyway. People love when you show that you care about their concerns, even if those concerns don't appear to have merit.

My sister is trigger-happy to find something wrong with e-cigs. Any time I haven't felt well, or if she sneezed in my presence while I was using it, she asked me if the e-cig could be at fault...Many people are very fearful, unfortunately.
