I have wondered the same thing. I wouldn't think it would be bad. I will have to check back and see the answer.
You mean unflavored nic juice? Yea, several people vape it. It doesn't taste bad. Depending on the origin of the NIC base, it can have a slight "peppery taste". Also, higher VG ratio's are have a sweetness to them.
I vape it quite often myself... It's especially great for those "dead taste buds" days. Not to mention that it eliminates the one part of vaping that is most questionable health-wise, the flavorings.

I don't know about cleaning your equipment out,lol, it'll probably take more than that. It'll surely make the equipment run longer tho. I've run cartos for a month w/o cleaning easily.
You have to shop around some tho, some taste pretty bad. Start with small quantities. Wizard Labs has great nic at great prices, I hear.

You can do it easily. I don't like it personally. Doesn't have much, if any taste.
I use only Wizard Labs... Great stuff, especially for the price tag.
I vape unflavored 90 percent of the time. I think it's due to the fact that I snus at the same time I vape. I use wizard labs.. I diy

happy is priceless. but now i am feeling self conscious about flavors - like flavors point to an overly dramatic personality or something...yikes!
Lol, yeah, I make it even more boring by just using a plain ego and Boge carto. No need for mods and VV with this stuff.
Mmmm... Let me tell you. Mix up your unflavored, and add about 1 or 2 drips per mL of Wizard Labs Smoother. Shake and give it one day. At 10 watts(for me 2.5ohm@5v), it kicks ....! If you are into it, about 1 drip per mL of Menthol will really make it great.
I know that's technically not "unflavored", but I still count it.
I'd say half my vaping time is spent vaping MFS unflavored nic at 14mg/100% vg. Clouds of vapor and decent th at 4.4volts with a 2ohm carto. As someone else mentioned, it seems to clean by taste/smell so flavored is more enjoyable when I switch back.

I have tried e-liquid from a bunch of places. including samples from China. There are two distinct ways that they make e-liquid and the difference is very noticeable. The more expensive process is close to flavorless. The less expensive process has a flavor that is kind of hard to describe. It is heavy on throat hit and kind of peppery/chemically flavored. The more expensive e-liquid had next to no flavor or throat hit.
As for base. VG is slightly sweet with tons of vapor. PG is flavorless with almost zero vapor. Neither of them on their own produce any throat hit at all, nothing. I am convinced that VG mellows out throat hit when mixed with nic and flavorings and that PG doesn't have any effect on TH.
You can add TH with alcohol, water, capsaicin, cinnamon or menthol crystals.
Yes water vaped does create Throat hit. Think of it this way. Have you ever used a neti pot and only used water? Talk about a burn!

Thank you for this. The last few months I was starting to get an itch for something. Sometimes, reading here, I think that there could be a market for something like this.
It kind of freaked me out when I came here that people are trading cig smoke for vaping baked goods. I went to unflavored because I hadn't smelled Springtime or fully tasted good food in 35yrs.
I've heard alot of opinions, and there are several threads concerning the best VG- but it seems to come down to personal taste. You can get it at a pharmacy or Wallyworld. Pg can be found cheaply at a farm store. I just get whatever they have when I buy my nic. base.

LOL No problem... I happened across that when I had pretty much given up on DIY after about 30 terrible mixes, and decided vaping unflavored would be simpler. Of course, since then I'm starting to get the hang to DIY finally, but I still keep a big batch of that around.
Yea... Unlike nic base, which has different methods of extraction depending on where you get it, PG and VG are pretty much the same wherever you get them, as long as they are the same grade... As long as you make sure its food grade(USP I think?), then it's good to go.
