Okay, I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box but I thought I understood a simple mathematical formula. W=2V/R.
Watts equals the voltage multiplied times two divided by the resistance of the cart. So if I'm using a 2 ohm carty at 4 volts the formula would read: (2)4/2=W or W=4 volts.
Why does the chart indicate 8 watts?
Help, confusion, I must be missing something but I need some help finding it, anybody. flame on.

I have a Lambo VV that goes from 3.0 to 6.0 in 0.1 increments. Over the last 2-3mos I've been working on the learning curve playing w/different carto ohms and volt settings. I primarily began using the 3.0 ohm Boges for while now from CCV. They work great & w/the 15 carto bundle (3pks of 5 ready-to-fill cartos).

Out of a bit of concern of vaping with the voltage too high, I haven't gone above about 4.0 to 4.1/4.2 but after going through as much of the charge as I can see (retinal disease compromised by Sjogren's causing corneal inflammation & Lupus (SLE) causing even more retinal damage), I bumped up the voltage to 4.4 then 4.5. I'm going btw the two & it's making a major difference in the warmth of the e-liquid as well as flavor.

Thanks for the info on this thread with the chart (only wish I could see it more clearly but I'll learn, esp now that I've got updated screen reader software. I've had another major drop in vision that's causing rebounding migraines so I try not to use what little light perception I have left but it's not easy. On certain days, I almost wish it would drop out completely so the headaches would go away... but then I come to my senses and realize I'm fortunate to still have light perception, regardless of how little, when many of my blind friends, who are also guide dog handlers, have none & many of those were either born blind or lost their sight sight as children whereas mine was as an adult so it's taken me twice as long to learn to live as a blind person than it was for them b/c it was natural and normal as they didn't know anything else. One friend said she thought it was probably easier for her being born blind b/c she didn't have to adapt or deal with the grieving part of the loss of sight after having sight through adulthood than it was for me. I can't tell you how much it helped talking to her & still does. It puts things into perspective not to mention helps me adapt as I lose even more sight. (Even at 2-3in from my face everything is a blur right now, incl'g when I use the zoom program built into my screen reader). I have to say though, I love the e-cigs b/c they're so much safer for the blind & healthier for those with autoimmune diseases. I don't fear dropping the "cherry ember" out of an analog now and not realizing it plus no fear of burning down my house b/c some of the meds I take for the autoimmune diseases make me drowsy even though they're not opiate meds. Also, I haven't had the 1st case of bronchitis since I began using e-cigs 3yrs, 2mos, and change ago.

If you have a Mod or big-battery mod, I'd give the 3.0 ohms a try but if not, I'd try the 2.0 ohm cartos. I've used both on the VV and I prefer the 3.0 ohm Boges. The attys are more of an annoyance these days b/c I can't see to drip so the cartos are easier though I have to count drops or feel for when the liquid fills the wadding. At least I've learned how to pour any excess, if I goof up, back into my bottle w/o spilling it. My finances are strung so tight it's a wonder it's not snapped yet so e-liquid is like gold for me. I switched to regular size for that reason too; didn't want to lose a just-filled carto and have the atty or whatever coiling inside go out and lose a filled carto then lose the e-liquid.

Although, I will say that the dual coil cartos I've bought from CCV are great too. I wish I could afford to get the bulk order in those but it's a bit beyond what I can spend right now, but I do pick up a single or two every now and again if I happen to have extra left over to get them. I usually save them for times when I have the house to myself & can enjoy a good audio book. It won't be long before I can enjoy my audio books with a piping hot, freshly brewed w/freshly ground beans latte or cappa with my e-cig! The only thing that tops that off is when it's cold enough & I can get my hands on Java Logs for my fireplace! The Duraflames are nice but Java logs are not only a nice feel & sound to them. I curl up on these huge hearth pillows with my travel coffee mug (It's from the Gloria Jean's Lupus Cure Travel Mug Sale fund-raiser they had several years ago; a dear friend I met on class when I went for my very 1st guide dog bought it for me & had it shipped to me. He passed away a couple years after he bought it for me so I think of him when the weather is cold & I can have a fire in the fireplace w/the Duraflame/Java logs - I'm too afraid of burning wood b/c it pops & I can't see if an ember comes out when the screen is open while stoking real wood. He lived in Ohio where there are actual weather changes between seasons. Our winters are mild here but it's been colder than usual these last few winters so I have been able to enjoy wrapping up w/my coffee, audio book on my Ipod, & the fireplace lit with a log when I can afford to buy them, and to top it all off, I have my fav e-cig with fav e-liquid to keep me company. Now if I can only get my hands on a decent bottle of brandy, I'd be set! LOL! :) These are my special occasions.

Best of luck in finding the best carto for your e-cig. I hope that you may find what you are looking for at Crystal Clear. The customer service folks are wonderful help if you need it and they give prompt replies. MFS is equally helpful when it comes to flavor assistance. These are my top ordering stores though I do pick up from Good Prophets when I can but I've not found the custom e-liquid quality like MFS anywhere else so they have had my business for 3+yrs & CCV for almost 2yrs after an ECF member recommended them.

HTH,

Paise

PS: Thanks again to the one who came up with the chart for attys. I will try to keep checking for one on cartos. I don't know if it helps or not but I primarily use Boge cartos but I have used other brands too.

My Fren measured my cartos with his Provari. It's 1.8ohms

I tried his fren's cartos (s/s color n it's labelled with tag 2ohms). We did a swap of cartos. Both of us dunno brand cartos we bought.

When try the 2ohms, felt like airflow very big. I'm not vaping normally, little vapor.. When try back 1.8ohms, vape normal, lots of vapour.

Is this a resistance ohm issue or the cartos airway design? I thought all cartos are the same.. Are they?
