Just got my orchid... Make 0.7 ohm from 28 awg khantal 9 wrap....
Can't use the Vamo so use mech mod. Work like charm

So 4.2 volt fully charged vct 4, 0.7 ohm... I must be doing around 25 watts right?

It depends on how much internal resistance your battery has and the mod resistance. Your battery at 4.2V will see around 25 watts, 6 amp drain, but your vape power will probably be closer to 21-22 watts.

Those charts are NOT obsolete. They are a Starting Point.

A starting point if someone is using a low power clearomizer like a CE4 or a Vivi Nova. Completely obsolete with the new higher power clearos, most cartos, or rebuildables. Unfortunately, the charts don't generally don't mention that :)

Unfortunately, vaping charts don't mention newbies who know nothing about battery safety, or ohms law, either----or the ones who don't even own a multimeter. :).

It's called SAFE vaping chart for a reason, I think people should still "start there", because just studying the chart a little bit will lead them to at least begin to "see" certain relationships

Lucky for me... As a noob... I've read to use proper batteries only and lower ohm, higher risk... I won't go below 0.7 ohm yet.

I don't have ohm meter... But my vamo v5 does the trick for me. Anyway I always do 9-12 wraps of awg 28 on dual coil... It won't be far from 0.7-0.8 ohm I suppose
