Vaping questions from a NEWB

Hello!
I just started vaping recently and I'm totally hooked! I'm trying to learn more about this stuff, but there's a lot of lingo and other things I don't understand yet.
I've been watching different vaping videos on Youtube and I'm amazed at all the different types out there. Is there a section/website that breaks down everything to know about vaping? For example, I keep hearing the term KICK, but I can't figure out what this means (ie. "this is the kick, you can use this with the kick, etc."). It would be great if there was somewhere I can learn all the lingo about vaping. Also, there's a bunch of different wattages and big batteries and small batteries. What is all this for? What's the difference between the strength of the batteries?

the kick is a drop in little circuit board module that turns a non-electronic non-variable voltage non-varible wattage PV into a variable wattage PV up to 10 watts. (it'll do VV for ya so you can use different resistance/ohm heads no problemo)

LOT of stuff to learn. But you dont have to learn it all at once. just vape. good luck on yur vaping journey.

glad to know about "kick" guess I will need to make sure to check all this information out alittle more. Glad to see you joining the community proverbs, and I absolutely love vaping too, I think its more addicting than smoking cigs, mostly because of the flavors in the liquids.

You hit the nail right on the head. As a smoker for 31 years, I was shocked at how quickly I steered away from the tobacco-themed e-liquids. Like, almost immediately. My all day vape is Peanut Butter Cup, and I smoked Marlboro reds. Go figure!

Peanut butter cup huh? I smoked reds, and more particularly L&M, and I have yet to try a peanut butter cup one. I am kind of hooked on watermelon, strawberry kiwi, and a good flavor called Wyatt Earp(which is a local stores version that is "close" to a marlboro red)

I have some watermelon too, use it in my 3.5ml Vivi Nova tank. I consider it a good summer and spring vape, because of the clean, crisp taste.

Welcome, proverbs! The different size batteries (say, a 650mAh ego vs. a 1000mAh ego) just indicate how long the battery will last between charges, but gimmeshelter's link will explain such things. But if you still have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Huge congrats on the big switch!

Well, there is our Info Zone, where you can find lots of info--including our vaping glossary; Library, New Members info. The problem is that the industry is evolving and changing so fast, that as soon someone is done compiling information, it instantly becomes obsolete.

There is a great blog by Baditude written especially for new members--I strongly recommend you read it!
