Hey hi everyone, I'm vaping been 1 year now, but smoked a lot with it, sometimes didn't even touched my machine...Now digging down a bit deep.

The reason I'm trying to quit smoking is "It steals my mental abilities and pushing me into death" So the safest way I found is vaping....Now nicotine is addictive and contains on both E-Juice & Cigarettes....So I mean to say wont it be the same? Asking like this cause I never ever vaped regularly, Like 1-2 days without cigarettes, It's my very first day...I want my physical and mental energy back...So if I continue vaping the effects of cigarettes be still there? [Dizziness, Always Cravings, Various Mental Modes, and a lot of pain man!]

I think you got me what I'm trying to say....Am I safe and will I regain my life after a while if I continue just vaping? Currently experimenting with various strengths, 18mg, mixes with vg, pure vg etc....Please read this full and help me

My opinion is yes,you will feel much better after awhile. Many stories ive read where people have improved much. Myself i dont cough when i wake up like i used to and that always makes me smile in the morning. For me,i still struggle at times to not smoke but i really think its because of all the other stuff in a smoke that my body is missing. Nicotine does not concern me at all,it not really anymore harmful than the pot of coffee i drink daily,so ive read.

I think your answer helped me out somehow, It's not nicotine, It's the countless chemicals+ flavoring etc on those sticks....

Can you please please please share your idea on mine? Tbh I'm not satisfied by vaping, I'm always feeling like "there's something missing" changing liquid brand, changing device, strength, mixing with vg, and a lot but not getting that one thing "aah" satisfaction, So whatever I'll vape will be the same at the beginning if i'm not wrong? I'm scared of one brand that's market out now here, Marlboro 18mg, Got taste even yesterday before quitting cigarettes...Now not getting that feeling from any juice, So vaping anything is kinda same? I'm asking your opinion...My wish is downgrade to 100% Pure VG one day if I get my life back...That will be just for fun that I vape haha, Leo does so I have to...Offtopic...Anyway please share your opinion about these "satisfaction thing" been 13.33 hours as a non smoker, Just vaping, Slept for 8-9 hours in between, So vaping for 3-4 hours now

Off the grid
Chain vape through the cravings like your life depends on it because it does. You have to get the nasty stuff out of your body which takes a couple of weeks. There are a lot more chemicals in tobacco smoke that are addictive than nicotine. Once you make the switch, at about day 3 or so, go eat something you love to eat and notice how much better it tastes now that your tastebuds and olfactory system are starting to heal. Let that be an early reward. Also stay hydrated. Keep a glass of ice water nearby since starter juices typically have more PG in them that will dry you out.
You can do this. I smoked pack and a half a day for 30 years. I haven't touched a stinky now for almost a year and a half and I'm not alone.
Good luck

The effects from smoking come from the whole leaf tobacco itself, not the nicotine Monoamine oxidase inhibition dramatically increases the motivation to self-administer nicotine in rats. - PubMed - NCBI
Nicotine is a stimulant, the same as the coffee or red bull ( caffeine ) you drink Is Nicotine the Next Big Smart Drug?

seems like, a very bad thing "Tobacco"

yes the cigarette pain will go away, give the vape all your energy and strength and ciggs will die and you'll feel the difference, you may like 24mg nicotine to curb the cravings better, it worked for me anyway, good luck:vapor:

Man I wish if I had 24mg here, hardly got some 18mg's but got just 1 marlboro, the brand I love, rests are gold leaf, benson, coffie, but 18mg, soon enough 18 wont be available here I guess, so have to shift to 6mg...IDK what to do, sometimes I think say good bye to that store and buy some more VG and just keep vaping 350ml pure vg instead! Frustrated a bit, nvm

I smoked for a long time. After I switched to vaping I started feeling better. Now I don't cough and my lung capacity is much improved. I have no cravings and I enjoy vaping more than I enjoyed smoking. I have not had any bad effects. My story is typical.

Its not the same as smoking but thats the point right? Those nasty sticks have so much stuff in there your still addicted too. Those things that are not nicotine. I found myself real fast asking why dont i feel satisfied? I have nicotine but its not the same, why? I concluded its other junk that my body had to let go of too. Feeling like its that other stuff made me want to not smoke that much more.

Kanger Sub-Tank, 0.5ohm coil, Experimenting with 4.2 volts vs 3.7 volts [35 watts vs 27 watts] I need an answer bout my coil aswell, I can go upto 50 watts but going over 20 watts can burn my coil?

I also have 2 EVOD Starter Kit, those pen type machines, don't know what wattage there, gives me good smooth vape

A lot of it was mindset though by the time I picked up vaping, due to my most recent failure of going 3 months cold turkey and being miserable, I had already conceded to myself I was a confirmed smoker. Found out my older brother, a 40 year smoker, started vaping and he struggled worse than me with quitting, had quit with vaping so as a last ditch effort I went out and bought an eGo and loaded it with 24mg nic. Found that was too harsh and moved to 18. I was nic sick the first week or so, lol. But I cut my cigarette consumption by half. The next week I went to a reputable vape shop and bought an IStick 50 with an Atlantis V2. Haven't touched a smoke since. I think I needed that big rush of flavorful vapor to make the switch. I used 6mg in that and switched to 3mg the next month when I picked up a RDA. Been at 3 since.
Flavor was a big part of it as well. Found an Irish cream vape that was absolutely delicious compared to cigarettes.

Just 6mg? Here I'm doing rocket science with 3 machines with minimum 18mg...So is it wattage that gives a bit satisfaction? The diamond I have is my kanger SUBOX Mini Starter...So putting 6mg even on that and higher wattage will do? Using this : with full airflow

First off you have to ask yourself, do I want to keep inhaling over 780 known toxic compounds ( that kills 440,000 people every year ) into my lungs everyday and totally aware of the damage it's doing ?
With how easy it is to buy pre made hand wrapped coils, I would suggest getting a better quality tank / coils and I can guarantee you will be more than satisfied with just 6 mg nic

I smoked a pack a day for 45 years, mostly full strength Winstons. I started vaping with 36mg nicotine, but you probably don't need that much with modern devices that produce more vapor than what was available to me five years ago. I'm down to 10 mg now. I started with tobacco flavors and now I prefer custard, bakery and coffee flavors. I make my own juice.
I didn't think much about quitting smoking. It just happened. So there's no reason for you to get all uptight about it.
Where do you live that you can't get 28mg?
