Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong section but ive been having some problems with side effects from vaping.
Okay so Ive been vaping for about 2-3 months now and I love it and I'm happy that I found a new hoppy that I can invest my time in. I was never a cigarette smoker but vaping really caught my attention. Anyways over the last couple months I have noticed some side effects like increased phlegm, slight shortness of breath, and a little bit of tightness in my chest in the mornings. Since I've started vaping Ive always used 3 or 6mg juice and I have always taken the proper precautions when it comes to vaping. All these side effects are really starting to bother me and are holding me back on enjoying one of my new favorite hobbies. The last couple weeks I have been really congested and almost feelings sick because of how much mucus I've been coughing up and clearing out of my lungs. I have always had bad seasonal allergies but vaping has to have something to do with all this stuff.

Are you sure that it's a side effect of vaping? The only real way to know is to stop vaping, let it pass and then start vaping again and see if it comes back.

Right now is cold season. Everyone around here is sick right now, I've even got it myself. Scratchy throat, constantly tired, headaches.

I've been vaping for 3 1/2 years. This isn't the first time I've had this, but I know that it's not from vaping. I mean...when I was a smoker, if I got a cold, it would knock me out for a week minimum. Now I barely notice that I'm sick except that I'm kind of tired and my throat is sore.

Um, first winter vaping so seasonal woes are because of vaping? Probably not.

That said, it might be the PG/VG ratio. I find high VG (50% or more) will increase phlegm for me a bit.

So maybe a different blend, or, as Xavier says, and since you weren't a smoker to start with, just stop vaping for a week or so and see if it goes away.
