Hi All,

I stumbled across this site several days ago, and thanks to you all have ordered and am patiently awaiting the Joye ego, and Riva 510 + accessories...
I have done a lot af reading and have learned a ton, but I do have a question or 2 that I have not run across yet.
How exactly do you smoke, scratch that, how exactly do you "vap", what I mean is for how long at a time, for instance, I smoke my cigs, 1st thing in morning with my coffee, and say it takes me 6-7 minutes to smoke that cig, then I will have one about 10 minutes later, do you vap for 6-7 minutes straight like the time it takes to smoke a full cig?

well for me, my pv never leaves my hand. at least when I started it was that way. Now I can put it down and walk away from it every so often.

Don't worry about the "how to" of it, use it when ever you feel the need. You can try 10 min or so vaping sessions every half hour or hour if you want, it works for some.

You will figure out what works for you.

Everyone is different.

One pointer to help figure out what works best for you- look up nicotine poisoning and then try not to vape so much you get any of those symptoms.
If you do you are either vaping too much or using too high a nicotine level.

I know it SOUNDS funny, but...

I was a chain smoker and now I basically chain vape 18mg juice all day long. At that level of nicotine I don't get nic poisoning and I have few if any signs of withdrawal. (I must admit to still smoking a bit, but I have gone from 2+ packs a day to 1 pack lasts 4 days in a few months.)
Just vape whatever feels right but doesn't get you any of the signs of too much nicotine. One thing- I'm told that it takes longer for the nic to get into our systems this way so the mornings may be the hardest part of the day.

I vape all day too. I used to light a cig, take a hit or two, set it down, do this or that, pick it back up, take a hit and then set it down and do this or that. I guess I am finding I do the same thing now, only couple things are different.

1. I don't find my pv juice burnt up in an ashtray.
2. I am not filling the room full of smoke. :)

I have found that I do well with 11 mg. Smoked 1-1 1/2 PAD. Hardest time for me is right after I eat, however during those "hard" times I have what I refer to as a "vape session". Then I am back to just vape do, vape do. I type all day and my pv sits right next to me at all times. I used to light a cig every time I proof read a doc. now I have a mini vape session while I proof read. :)

You have to remember you are changing a habit so don't expect that you will follow the same path/pattern you did when you were smoking. Oh and one more thing, when the "urge" to lit that cig kicks in, grab your pv and vape for at least 10-15 minutes before you grab a cig. I found that that really helped the desire/urge to light the cig. I have not had a cig. since the day I got my pv.

Good luck to you and remember to post here during your weaker moments and you will get the support you need to get past it. :)

sometimes i'll take just a drag or two before doing something....which is easy to do with pvs...no wasted material!

but at night i love hunkerin' down and dripping 5-10 drops on a 306 while watching tv....

its whatever suits your mood!!

though i would be conscious while using carts....its easy to over-do it!
