Yes. I'm very new to this, maybe 3 weeks in and I really enjoy it. I can vape in my house and in my car and it doesn't bother anyone. Something else I really like, you can have just one or two puffs if that is all you feel like. With smoking, I always felt I should smoke the whole cigarette as to not waste it.

It also tastes and smells so much better. That also makes it more enjoyable to me.

Welcome and enjoy :)

I certainly am there, and just off the top of my head:
1) I enjoy the cleanness of the flavors, even the tobacco-type ones, whereas with smoking, I enjoyed the unhealthiness flavor-wise. If that makes sense. Hah...
2) I enjoy relaxing on the couch, watching Youtube on my phone, vaping however long I want, without any concern for ash and stink. Vaping is so hassle-free compared to smoking, even with my meager setup of a 1050mah 3.7v ePower and Boge XL cartos.

Although, my mind does still remember the good times I had smoking and sometimes I think of buying a pack. Experience tells me I'd be smoking 1 or 2 sticks and tossing out the rest of those expensive cigarettes, though, due to crappy taste and horrible feedback coming from my brain and body. And this from a guy that has never decided to quit, and who's still open to smoking a few if I felt like I wanted to.

It is different and there's an adjustment period. Post that, I find vaping to be more enjoyable than smoking, personally. The flavors are cleaner and I smell nicer.

I still, even at week 6, get major cig cravings and I'm not sure why at this point. Occasionally--every 3 to 6 days--I have one. Each one is a new experience in how disgusting they are.

Absolutely....vaping is soooo much (for me) better than smoking. It's been 2 and 1/2 years now and I couldn't smoke a cigarette if I tried. I have tried, in fact, and can get about 2-3 puffs down before I just can't stand it. I smoked for 40 years and NEVER thought I'd quit. I actually didn't even WANT to quit when I started vaping: I just wanted something I could do when/where I couldn't smoke. Within 2 weeks of starting to vape, the cigs were out. I never want a cigarette anymore.

While I immediately enjoyed vaping and gave up smoking pretty easily it did take quite a while before I could honestly say I no longer missed smoking. Vaping is not the same as smoking and I did enjoy smoking for a very long time. Today I cant imagine ever smoking again. I very much enjoy everything about vaping. :)

I smoked for 30 years,,,,,,I loved smoking,,,,I didn't WANT to quit,,,,,

but I knew I had to if I wanted to live.

so I started vaping,,,,,,,,MUCH BETTER,,,,,,,,

I tried a cigarette about a week after I started vaping,,,,,I ran out of battery life on the mini cig a like I had at Disney World, so I had a cigarette.

I could only take 3 puffs and I was gagging,,,,

for me, it's the flavors,,,,,,,,SO much better than smoking.

Never again.

Waiting on my starter kit to arrive & i was just curious , do any of you get to the point where Vaping actually gets more enjoyable and satisfying as the ACTof smoking ?

For me? Absolutely. I enjoyed smoking and as another poster said, only wanted to quit for my health. The switch to vaping occurred fairly quickly for me, and it got to the point where there was no doubt I would rather vape than smoke. With only decent equipment, vaping rocks!

I smoked for 43 years...and I LOVED to smoke. That is...I loved the habit, but wasn't as fond of the burned clothes and furniture or feeling like a leper when in public. I was one of the oddballs who didn't mind the smell of smoke back when I was a kid...I associated it with being grown up and my parents' sophisticated parties with ladies in fur coats and men smelling of expensive aftershave and tobacco. But I was being hammered constantly that I ought to quit...friends, family, society, etc. So after attempting several methods to quit and failing every time and ending up smoking more, I tried vaping as a last ditch effort a year ago.

It "took" instantly. Now I far prefer vaping to smoking....by a mile! I no longer think the smell of smoke as "attractive" (yuck) and the flavor of my menthol with vaping is vastly better. I can vape until I'm blue if I want to, because I only use very low nicotine (4mg. now). I love the gadgets. I love the cleanliness and not burning holes in things. I'm saving money (now). I don't get the occasional bug or stick in my vape (eww). I can indulge in a habit I love with NO guilt. Whatever "health risks" there may be cannot be any worse than the additives and pesticides in our food we eat now. It's all good. Would never consider going back to smoking now. Not ever.

It's definitely more enjoyable for me. The wide variety of tastes, the nerdy aspect of gear, and the vaping community make this hobby more fun and safer (IMO) than smoking ever was. Also, vaping doesn't stink up your clothes and wreck your breath like smoking. As others have said, since I've started vaping, regular cigarettes taste atrocious to me. Though to be completely honest, I've had a few slip-ups when I've been under the influence of certain beverages; I've always felt horrible about it the next day.

Absolutely! Of course I failed a couple of times. I bought the gas station type disposables, and a free trial, that wasn't free. One other mistake, then I found this forum.

I'm using a Joye eGo Twist I just got Friday, and it seriously replaces a cigarette. I like it even better than smoking. I vape in my car, my house, and other places I couldn't smoke a stinky. The flavor choices are far greater. After 3 weeks, I'm breathing better, and feeling better. I've already saved on quitting, even with paying for my set up and buying a few bottles of juice. In another month, I'll be way ahead. Yes, I'd rather be vaping than smoking.

After smoking 30+ years, I smoked my last cigarette seven or so months ago. People don't seem to believe me when I explain to them how I quit and that I now enjoy vaping more than smoking.

I agree with the previous poster who brought up the "no sweat" of only taking a few toots and being satisfied, but if I would have done that with a cigarette, I would have felt guilty about wasting one after only a couple drags.

I truly appreciate the variety of flavors, and probably go thru at least 3-4 during the course of my day. Why limit myself? I don't eat or drink from a limited couple of flavors of food or drink, do I?

I can easily stealth vape in a non-smoking area when I get a nicotine craving. I'll find a bathroom stall if I have to; wouldn't dare try that with cigarettes. I've even discreetly stealth vaped in a movie theater. I can vape in my car and not be worried that the vapor will anoy whoever may be with me.

My home, my clothes, my hair, my car, ME, no longer smells like an ash tray. I no longer wake up coughing up a lung. I no longer have the evening nasal congestion that I had for the last 20 years when I smoked.
