Ditto mostly.
Since you WANT to quit the analogs, you want to fiddle with the vaping until it's a satisfactory replacement.
I'd suggest
a) Try 12 mg nic or less (you can buy 6 and 12 and mix them, etc) - so you won't over-do the nicotine
b) Try some more flavors!! You might find something totally different that's FUN and delicious to vape, which will motivate more usage, which will kill any crave for a cig.

You can pour a new juice on top of the old one - if you think they'll go OK together. I do that - even when it's "a little bit of tobacco still there in my strawberry-banana-smoothie". You'd be surprised, it's tasty. LOL.

You DO want to learn to clean it - for conflicting flavors, and just to keep it working longer...

Happy vaping!

So, thanks again for the tips and advice. The think with the coil, I don't understand.. Do you have to wait for the juice to be "sucked" by the coil, each time you puff? I mean, more than ~5 seconds?
I'm at the lowest voltage right now, so that's where it has the lowest change of happening right?

I've tried to smoke an analog 2 days ago, but it tasted like burned paper, and I knew i could force myself to smoke it and eventually it would satisfy me, but I decided to put it of after 3 puffs and vaped until I wasn't feeling like analogs anymore ;)

Sounds to me like you are on the right track. Taking 3 puffs in a row? You mean like 'hot boxing' a cig? Or after 3 puffs spaced evenly apart? The rapid toking does mean the device isn't keeping up with you. The spaced puffs may mean the juice is just too harsh for your throat. You decide. Either way, lowering your nic, increasing your liquids, and finding a juice more suitable to your body sounds like you are on your way to being done with the stinkies.
Good luck
:)

When you take a drag you are vaporizing the juice that is at the coil.
After you vaporize that juice, more juice has to "ooze" it's way to the coil for the next drag.

How long that takes depends on a number of factors, so there is no point in saying how long it SHOULD take.
But in general, taking drag after drag after drag may not always work out so well.
:)

Yes, that is correct.

Hi and welcome :)
Agree with lowering your nic level..In my case, I used to smoke 2 packs a day and I only vape 6mg juices since I vape a lot
Drinking lots of water do help with the 'weird' taste on your tongue, and I was suggested once by someone on this forum to keep some hard candies around specially when you've just started vaping. I no longer do though since I'm kinda used to vaping by now.
And if I may suggest, dont be afraid to experiment with juices. Try out all kinds of liquids be it fruit flavor, dessert etc. Since ex-smokers will try mimic analog taste with vaping. That may not be the case and you'll be surprised loving flavors that taste nothing like analog cigarettes. Cheers!

Thanks for all the explanations!! ;)

Today I received a kit i ordered for a friend of mine. (a 20eur ~25$ kit)

KIT-DOPPIO-EGO-CE4-650mah.jpg

They didnt have the Halo torque56, so I ordered the dekang DK-4 (tastes almost the same) 18mg same as mine.

I have tried it and it does not have such a bad effect on my tongue and throat. So, since is not likely that the clearomizer is better since its very cheap and single coil, so I assume its the juice (the Halo torque56) that has this bad taste.

As many of you said, I have to try more juices! ;) I have read somewhere that you can buy an atomizer (i think) that is open on the top where you put only a few drops right on the coil or something, to just get a taste of the juice, but can't find it online.
How is this called and can you give any recommendations on what brand/model to buy?

I had a wicking problem with my Protank so I did a search on utube to see if there were any fixes. Yes there are. I removed 1 flavor wick from my setup and the taste is better with more vapor and much more satisfying. I'm vaping more than I smoked so I'm using 6mg for now. Eventually I'll be at 0mg but I'm not in any hurry!
