I have yet to see anyone, anywhere "vaping". My attitude about it is, one of the advantages of quitting smoking and vaping instead is I can do it indoors, which I have been happily doing - at home, at work (down low) and pubs.

Because everywhere is non-smoking...I have had occasional weird confused looks and LOTS of people approach me out of curiosity, with lots saying they were going to look into e-cigs for themselves. (I wish I was getting a referral fee from the supplier I use! LOL).

I have only had one place tell me I wasn't allowed to use my e-cig and that was at the casino. When I explained it was merely vapour...NOT smoke, they claimed it was their "Policy" (really?? it appears 90% of the population is oblivious to e-cig existence, but you have a policy on them???). They said it confuses their other patrons who may think they can smoke. Ummm...if someone is confused about the long standing smoking by-laws and the signs everywhere saying "no smoking" and lights up, shouldn't you deal with THEM?

So...am I wrong to assume you should be able to vape wherever (not like I'm going to pull it out at a meeting or at my kids' school)? Anyone else vaping indoors? Anyone had their wrist slapped for it?

IMHO smoking is outdoors and kids coming up today understand that it's not acceptable to smoke indoors. I wouldn't vape openly in McDonalds or the mall but I'd stealth vape and really nobody sees or calls me on it. Guess what I'm saying is know your audience, respect that people don't know what it is, stealth vape when you have to and boldly vape where you can.
