Back in the analog days I always smoked in the car without a care in the world. Now, since I have graduated from a 20 watt istick with a kayfun to a 200 watt smok mod with a Griffin 25, and gone from MTL to DTL, my clouds are so dense that I cannot see the road in front of me when I exhale.

The first time I blinded myself that way I went "holy crap, I can't see anything".

Now I make sure I have the windows cracked open a little for ventilation so I don't accidentally blind myself anymore.

Yup. Crack the window and blow to the side. Clouded out my windshield once as well. I really didn't expect it as I usually run around with a high PG mtl stealth setup. My fault switching to a subohm build by just grabbing the first mod/filled tank I saw on my desk and I was rushing.

Dang EPA banned R-12 so I sweat my .... off in the summer.

There's an inexpensive fix for that! Years ago I bought a conversion kit for my Ford Bronco II A/C system, so I could easily obtain and use the newer freon. It cost me $24.99 for the kit at KMart. Had a guy at a local garage install the kit, and he charged only $20 'cause he said it was a simple thing to do. Been using the new freon now for years...no problem!

Yea my uncle does HVAC so I could borrow his vacuum pump and then put in the R134a. Just don't see the point since A; it's winter and B; I'll be getting a new truck when I get a new job. I might wind up keeping it because it's nice to have a good backup car and nothing is more reliable than a F-150 with the big six.

Converting an R12 system to 134a will always result in less performance but it should work well enough. To properly convert an R12 system to 134 requires a compressor for 134a and condenser and an evaporator for 134a. The kits with the conversion oil and fittings does work but not as efficiently. I did many conversions over the years and I still have a 30 LB tank of R12 but no vehicles to use it in any longer.
