Started with a KR808D-1 Battery/Cartomizer 5+ weeks ago. Working good with it. Kicked the analogs. Now I'm wanting to mix some flavors and trying them with a cartomizer sounds like a huge pain.
Ready to invest in another type of PV. But not sure where to start. What's the advantages of a 3 piece? How do I decide on 510, 901, etc. So many numbers! Is buying just a Pass thru a bad idea? And what else would I need to buy if I did that?

Thanks for any help you can offer. Supplier references would be very helpful too.

Suppliers: Have what I need? Post or send me a PM. Thanks!

Wehave a V4Lkr808 and DSE 901s. We both perfer the 901s,it is no more work to have 3 pieces, and I feel like the 901 battery lasts longer. The 901s also seem to have a smoother lighter throat hit that I like I bought a ton of batteries, attys and carts from valuevapor.com. The shipping was really fast, and James was great with communication.
For starting out I would suggest 2 batts,4 attys at least 10 carts and juice. If you buy the pieces separately then you would need charger too. The hubs likes passthroughs, but I am hyper by nature and it feels like a leash to me,so I only use mine to do dry burn to clean off atts

Well, the easiest and cheapest way to do it would be to buy 901 atomizers and carts. The 901 atomizer will fit right on your Kr808 battery, without an adapter. This way you don't have to buy a whole new kit.

The 901 is also very flavorful. I like it for dripping and flavor testing.

The 510, of course, is also very good. I think it has better vapor production, although the 901 still tastes cleaner to me.

Personally, I having tried the Kr808, 901, and 510... I still prefer the Kr808. And when I use the 510, I mostly use it with 510 cartomizers. I just have a preference for the way cartomizers taste, and they are also less fussy.

I still use all three, and still bust out my atties from time to time. But I'm just a carto fan.

Some people greatly prefer how atomizers taste. It's very individual.

As far as a pass-thru, depends on what you want. The Kr808 pass-thru's only come in 5v. Again, whether or not you'll like 5v is personal preference. Lots of people do. But I don't.

So I wound up with a 510 in-line battery pass-thru instead, because you can buy them regulated down to 3.2v. I like 3.7v best, but I'd rather have 3.2v than 5v.

They are extremely handy, and really cut down on the number of charge cycles you're running up on your batteries. I'm using mine right now, with a 510 cartomizer. :)

ElectroNicStix has 510 and 901 stuff. I bought my Kr808 kit from them and had a good experience.

My 510 pass-thru comes from CigNot. They are a very good company for everything 510.
