What type of cotton are you using? I just tried out some gauze, and it's behaving remarkably well. It's very easy to judge the thickness of the wick with it too.

I save my old band-aids instead of gauze it takes a bit of break in time but I feel better saving the environment and all.

quad microcoil on the nimbus. I removed a lot more of the wick cause it was smothering the coil, so disregard all the wick in this picture.

I think I'm just a sissy. My traditional wrap with 30 gauge kanthal and 5 wraps on 3mm silica works incredibly well though. Turned out at 1.1 Ohms and that makes me very happy. Much better than the stock coils. I think I like really strong flavor, and a mellower t/h. Maybe I'll revisit these coils once I get a real RBA. You HAVE to admit, they are a pain in the .... to build.

Not really, I can do one in a few minutes. It just takes practice.

dont feel totally alone out there lol
I been playing with the micro coils as well. I like the increase in flavor but I do not see very much increase in my vapor and the one thing they are famous for is more TH and that's the one thing I really dont want to increase, after literally a couple 100 feet of wire and tons of coils, I got my builds exactly where I like them and see nothing but extra work from a micro. I like the nic kick with very smooth vapor myself.

starting to make a different juce just for a certain coil doesnt interest me personally, but I also prefer genis with mesh above everything else.
