You have to be careful when it comes to attributing medical symptoms to vaping. I've been vaping while watching the Republican and Democratic debates. I was getting severe headaches and thought something was very wrong with my juice. The other night I was watching with my wife and I said I have a huge headache. She said "Well stop that." I said I don't want to stop vaping and she said "No, stop banging your head against the table every time Trump sounds like an idiot or every time Hillary lies." Turns out it had nothing to do with vaping! It turns out my hitting my head against the table was an involuntary reaction to their moronic skeeviness. If either one becomes president, I'm gonna need some Excedrin.

I get the same over stimulated feeling and head rush if I vape sub ohm over 1.5mg, I mix 3mg and 0mg bottles. Anything higher at sub ohm and I'm too wired to sleep.

nautilus mini, 1.8 bvc coils at around 13W, I mix two different 3mg and 6mg liquids that just happen to be the perfect MTL tobacco vape for me so that makes 4.5mg

Nicotine is a strong stimulant, you might just be sensitive to it like me.

But i need to quit smoking! :p yeh i drink loads and loads of water

Loads? - maybe that's what's making you feel sick.

Could be anything - like trying to copy the cloud chasers and getting too much hit.

A basic mech with a wire round a wick atomiser and 18mg juice is sufficient to replace smoking - and I used to chain smoke handrolling

Go see your GP and discuss it I get the feeling your a fellow Brit so your GP should be happy to have this discussion with you. Also you were ingesting far more nicotine with golden Virginia rolling baccy then that 3mg nic liquid so I don't think nicotine is the villain here but an intolerance to either propylene glycol or vegetable glycerine your flavouring may be another cause. Where did you buy your eliquid from and what ratio pg \vg is this liquid I'm hoping you haven't bought from a local market as I'm aware of issue's with eliquid being sold in markets across the UK.
If the vaping is making you I,d try lowering your wattage and temp. You may like was said, have an issue with pg/vg personally I have to use a good juice that is at least 70 percent vg. Because I don't like the pg it stings my throat and makes me dizzy.hope that helps an excellent brand of high vg is Cali steam

I too think it could be the VG or PG. I started with a higher PG and had some issues that went away when I switched to a much higher VG.

Try several different 0 nic ejuices from as many different companies as you can. Try different VG/PG blends too. That way, if you can find something that doesn't make you sick, buy that same ejuice in steps of 1mg nic, 3mg nic, and then "maybe" 6mg nic. If, as you increase the nic levels, you start getting sick again, it could be the nic. I started at 18mg nic and I almost stopped as fast as I started. I was smoking a pack and a half to 2 packs a day menthol and that is what was recommended to me.

If your device (vape machine-haha!) cannot handle higher VG blends (as those are much thicker) try getting a device that can handle it. If it turns out it is the VG there are a lot of tanks that handle the thinner PG blends perfectly. I have a friend that had to switch to dripping because he cannot handle PG at all. He is about as close to 100% VG as he can get. He makes his own juice and orders the flavors suspended in VG instead of PG, but some flavors are still not available in VG only. Good luck!

I can kind of relate to what he is saying. I get sweaty and like feeling super rushed when vaping my 6mg max vg juice on my subtank at .5 ohms. i tried 3 mg it wasn't as bad. There seems to be from experience different for me when vaping than it does when smoking, the nicotine feelings I get, is what i mean. But no i haven't woke up drenched or anything. I am not saying I am right about this so take this with a grain of salt. But let me just say that vaping nicotine vs. smoking nicotine in a ciggerette is completely different TOO ME. Everyone elses milage may vary.

Thanks again.... But now I remember seeing those at The Flavor Apprentice. I get most all my DIY flavors there, but none of the flavors they offer in full VG are any of the ones I get, Oh Well :(

But I will keep looking in case they add strawberry, pineapple or the various mints I use.

is it because the vape mods just make so much more vapour that im kinda overdosing or something?

You need to make sure you have quality vape juice. Other than that it may be some complication with your condition. I know certain medications react to nicotine in a odd manner such as psychiatric medications. Some vape juice is really bad I suggest you buy some flavor you like from a known good retailer.

It is not vaping alone that makes you sick, it is vaping And smoking. I did both at first and I felt ill numerous times, in many ways. And I'm not especially sensetive to nicotine as far as I know. They Don't go together well, at all! They Both have side effects that compound together terribly, along with how they deliver nicotine differently.

Do one or the other! (Vape! Good luck to you)

hi everyone, hope you are all have a good day :). Im hoping to get some advice from you guys on my vaping experience and how i can fix it. So iv got an illness where nicotine is kinda krptonite but i did smoke before i got sick and im still hooked, but i notice the more i smoke the worse my symptoms are so im trying to quit using a vape machine etc. As i smoke roll ups i started with a KIK vape pen thats 900 mah, with 6 mg of nicotine marked as v low. This seems ok but the battery sucks so i got a innokin cool fire 4 plus, first i tried this with the 0.5 ohm coil and 6 mg liquid but it made me super ill, iv now changed to a 2.0 ohm with a 3 mg e liquid and thats still making me sick, i felt like i had drunk a few red bulls after having a cigs worth of vaper off it before bed. Has anyone else experienced this and if so whats the best plan of action? is it because the vape mods just make so much more vapour that im kinda overdosing or something? i woke up after an hour and couldnt get back to sleep, all dizzy etc, and then i woke up this morning drenched lol! think i overdosed or something? but how can someone OD on 3 mg e liquid :S
Just curious, but what did your doctor originally diagnose you with? It may help answer your questions better, narrow it down some, da know?

What was your doctor's diagnosis btw? you said he gave you one but never elaborated ? i'm an RN and based on your incoherent messages so far it seems you're prob doing something else to cause this issue highly unlike nicotine at 3mg would cause this if Analogs didn't.

unless you're still smoking cigs and vaping...there can be issues there from what i've heard but you're at 3mg none the less...i've only heard of chain smokers who are heavy into nic who smoke 20+mg from both sides having issues..

take your doctors advice (i'm sure he told you to stop vaping if anything for given time to see if symptoms subside) it would be much easier to help if you gave us his feedback....other than that don't look on forums for medical advice and what not...at this point you should either see your GP again, or look for second opinion and then top that off with a specialist to be sure...

and what does "like kryptonite" mean? when i think kryptonite i think a person falls to the floor weak in a near death state...if thats what you mean you should quit smoking/vaping all together and pray to allah to fix your ungodly weakness...if not elaborate exactly how you feel...i get the feeling you're a kid...and shouldn't be smoking/vaping in general...

There have been a number of people who were not able to vape over the years on this forum. Some had sensitivities to PG, some to VG, etc. There was a member in reoville who had to give up vaping due to medical problems (he didn't specify but he had pretty serious heart issues) and a friend of mine with REYNAUD's syndrome had to give up nicotine. (nicotine will *usually* NOT improve your life if you have reynauds. :) Even though there are some conditions that nicotine helps. )

You could always head over to the SNUS forum here and check it out. (what's under your nose topic). Nice folks and there are more than one tobacco harm reduction methods besides vaping. It's a given that not EVERYONE can vape. Most people can, but many simply cannot.

BEST WAY to eliminate the VG/PG issues is to get hold of some pure vg unflavored eliquid, then some pure PG unflavored eliquid, and see what happens. No nic in either of course...and no flavorings. Lots of people have problems with flavorings, and those are harder to narrow down. You have to really narrow things down when you are trying to get an answer. See how you feel vaping either of those first.

I become quite ill if there is ANY cinnamon in a vape.

yup lotz of water 15 - 20 gallons a day... never can be too hydrated... as everyone knows, vaping can make you look like a piece of beef jerky in 4 puffs...

no but seriously... an avg vaper consumes about 4-5 ml of juice a day, VG/PG can only absorb 40% max of its volume in moisture... so your looking at 1.5 - 2.2 ml of moisture ( water) being sucked out of your system in exhaled vape... thats less than a teaspoon of water per 4-5 ml of vaped juice....

Sorry, not that simple.

Hormone levels, blood sugar, medications, and biological conditions that affect how the body regulates water balance, and how an individual's brain, kidneys, various glands, and hormones work in concert, for instance, how the hypothalmus detects water in the blood and signals the reslease of anti dueuretic hormones, etc. , and even how fast one's heart beats.....all vastly affect the "overly simplistic" explanation you just gave.

Not at all "formulaic" -----

of note, the anecdotal reports by vapers pretty much across the board that they have to hydrate more.....and they aren't just hydrating with a few *teaspoons* of water either. Which is all they would need according to your model.

You are applying what happens in a test tube to what happens in a human body, and they aren't even close in approximation, as there are 100s of variables that you haven't plugged in to your simple formula.
