I liked the double apple w/ menthol. I add menthol to all my fruits, so I can't comment on how it is by itself.

Just started doing diy, should have came to the diy forum on here first. I bought fruit flavors from Loranns and I didn't like any of them, I've seen a lot of good reviews for vapingzone super concentrated flavors, so I'm going to try them & the flavor apprentice.
I just started about a month ago, if you want easy, look into nude nicotine flavorings. Pg free and pretty strong. Especially the net tabaccos. I went 1.5% in 100% VG base with honey tabacco and it's a nice strong flavor.
But it takes some of the mad scientist aspect of diy because most of their flavors are already several flavors i.e. strawberry banana smoothie or Shirley Temple. They have all been great, and I like that my end product is pg free.
But Ive also had great luck with the several vz super concentrates too. My best so far was 8% hangsen ry4, 2% vzsc vanilla, 2% vzsc caramel and 3% vzsc banana. So the only pg there was the ry4.

ya, I'm trying to get 100% vg to, but i need to make a few flavors for the wife and her vivi nova, so i need to make her a mostly pg blend. i'm going to checkout that nude nicotine flavors, thanks
