I made about 5 various fruit whiskeys for my husband, they were made with all super concentrates. They've been steeping for 3 weeks now and he only had a couple with an atty. His comment was they tasted good but not an all day thing. They are still in the top of the cupbard. I'll take them out and see if I can get him away from teas long enough to give them a try.
BTW, on a side note, any fruits mixed with 3-8 drops of the VZ black tea is godly. He doesnt want to vape anything else lately.

The honey apple whiskey smells like.. apple and whiskey. smells like I could drink it.

Maybe I should mix cola with it.

ive heard great things about Vaping Zone's nic base. id like to get some. can you recommend some good flavorings from VZ as well?

sorry to thread-jack...hows the whiskey turning out?

Even after steeping I'm still not getting a whiskey flavor, I've put it to the side for the moment. I may revisit it in the future with a higher percentage.

So far what I really like of the VZ super concentrates are the Cherry, Mandarin, Orange, Blackberry, Grape, B&M, Island. Really the only one I haven't enjoyed a lot is the Strawberry, but some people really dig on it. Tastes vary I guess. They are very forgiving when it comes to percentages, but most mix awesome between 2.5% and 3.5%. There are a couple of gigantic threads on VZ SC's, enjoy the reading!

Ok, it sounds like you've got a handle on working with the SC Whiskey? What percentages are you using for straight whiskey and for your fruit whiskeys?

I'll have to get back with him about the whiskey. It DOES seem less is more. I believe I used .5 to 1 drops per ml for the whiskey (VZ bottle), and 1-2 drops per ml on the fruits. 50/50 pg/vg. 12 mg nic. I can only go by smell as I do not vape (I know, these do smell so good I should mix some at 0 nic.). I know I should get away from drops, but with the SC it is difficult to measure on a syringe. I'm just the good wife, who was a chemist, who likes to mix things and DIY is fun. but since I don't vape my own product it takes a little while to get results

He says it tastes close to Jack Daniels in a vape. He said the Pear whiskey was crisp and the honey apple was nice. I dont think he tried the berry whiskey mix. I also made a jujube & strawberry whiskey, (I went a little nuts). He wasnt much of a fan of the whiskey straight, he liked it mixed with a flavor other than whiskey.

We havent tried cola & Whiskey yet tho...

.5 to 1 drops per ml on the whiskey. Go easy at first, then adjust as needed.
1-2 drops per ml on the fruits depending on their strength.
ALL SC.
suggested steep probably 1 week.
