Really? Tell me exactly what I am misinterpreting or how I am jumping all over the place?

Firstly - Bill vs. (passed) Law

Independent State vs. Federal mandate...............or FDA

Yes, you are all over the place.

I suggest with your certainty, you try Chantix and dump all your gear before being place under lock and key.

Law - at times a Serious Joke - world wide
Real Funny Dumb Laws in the United States

Dumb Laws in Georgia. Crazy Georgia Laws. We have weird laws, strange laws, and just plain crazy laws!

The 22 most ridiculous US laws still in effect today. #10 is just crazy… LOL!

Sheeple get what they ask for.

Maybe we need to organize as Holistic believers of the Seven Day vape

This is not some "dumb law" still on the books from the 19th century. This is a very serious law trying to recapture a large part of their piece of a now quickly declining $50 Billion tax revenue stream. And a law that will surely put most of the Georgia vape shops out of business. If you can't reply with an intelligent or at least serious argument then please don't reply at all.

Some laws are clearly unenforceable, and a law prohibiting DIY is obviously so. People who have nic stashed away will simply ignore it. But that doesn't change the sad fact that voters have elected politicians who believe they have the moral authority to control people's private affairs to that level.

Even if the state does not intend to break down your door to find your nic stash, there are severe adverse consequences to making DIY illegal that you might not think about.

You are standing on a street corner, dripping into your dripper with a bottle with an obviously hand written label. That is now a clearly illegal act, even if vaping is generally legal on that street corner.

Once that law is put into place, it can be used to support future laws restricting what you can buy and how you can buy it. It is difficult to predict all the badness that comes out of making DIY technically illegal. This is so much more than jack booted cops breaking down doors. It is a stepping stone to harassment that leads to us hiding in our homes to vape our DIY.

There is another very important aspect to making DIY illegal. Most of us older vapers are not "lawbreakers". There will be a stigma attached to DIY that will make many of us increasingly uncomfortable, above and beyond all the social stigma that is arising now from all the anti-vape propaganda. Making DIY illegal will just make it worse. Some may not care about that, but others do.

Do you have nothing better to do than Preach doom and Gloom? If so this is you relief. Do not attempt to dictate mine. ;)

None of us are unaware of their attempts or reasoning. However many do get tired of you demanding Center stage.

There will be LAWS passed, which Can be Legally challenged - should people so choose.
Until then, you ARE Speculating. Repeated Speculation does NOT make it any less - SPECULATING.

On topic - yours about Ga./In. - How many people have been arrested and prosecuted for:
1)Possession
2)Manufacturing
3)Distribution
of e-liquids?

It is rather obvious to most adults, States will do whatever they can to increase Budgetary funds.
This is simply one more addition to their list of opportunities.
Yes, it upsets all of us, but Action - Not bickering about exactness - is required in order to effect ANY reasonable outcome.

Now, what I showed in my previous post is just how Stupid both Elected officials and Sheeple can be. Still, with a bit of Work, the Stupidity can be overcome.

So I purchase one legal commercial bottle and keep refilling it with my DIY. Not that I ever stand around dripping on street corners.

Even with work-arounds, it sounds like a terrible law.

Explain to me as if i were a five year old why your speculations are correct
and ours are taking 'center stage?'
I assumed we were having a two way discussion.

The sky is falling the sky is falling... and today i got the politics version of this... i literally heard someone say that if canidate X gets elected the US is done as a country. Point being no matter what happens someone will be saying the world as we know it will end. And they have all been wrong so far... so pardon me if im not too worried.

Oh, I agree, the bill is horrible. Its sponsors should be tarred and feathered. But I doubt there are enough vapers with sharp pitchforks and working torches to make that happen.

The OP started a thread asking about the possible implications of "Vapocalypse". I could have put on a rosy face and said not to worry, but I didn't think that would be good advice. It's hard to watch daily events unfolding, one worse than the last, and be very optimistic. But if you want to put on a rosy face and tell him all is well, don't worry, feel free.

I find half of those 22 laws to be completely logical.

What woman wants to kiss a man with mustacheS? (emphasis on plural)

If you're stealing soap...
You probably REALLY need it. The bar will probably be gone before you're completely sanitary anyway.

Who wants to be stuck sitting next to the guy on the bus that just devoured the garlic and onion veggie burger?

But where I draw the line... my chicken simply must be allowed to cross the road. Simply so I can investigate and ponder why.

We can be.
Not others, VNeil.
He seems to insist he has exacting knowledge as to what Will be. Unless he is an insider, nothing has been releases on the Federal level to substantiate his claims.
So he flips the discussion to State.

I could speculate all e-liquid would require a special permit to purchase, issued as proof of legal age and a way to Track Bar Coded purchases.(For the Children):glare: But until it happens, it would be only - me Speculating.

We have no Access to Final Draft, No information from Committee Review and No Date of eminent release of legislation.

Meanwhile hardliners keep blasting away, likely scaring off New Vapers and possible Smokers interesting in converting.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<This upsets me.:grr:

If someone Knows something - Fine - Post it
If someone has a thought or opinion as such - fine - Post it

Am I wrong to hold onto a little hope that when the Dust settles, there will still be opportunity for Smokers to have a Better alternative choice? o_O

That is my Hope, but not an assumption or an assertion.

With all due respect vaping is completely unregulated now. You could have all kinds of nasty stuff being put in juice and you would never know it until its way too late... so if it gets some regulation it isnt necessarily a bad thing. Yes they could go overboard. If they do we tear down the doors to congress and fix it. But fearmongering isnt going to change a thing.

With a name like Candidate X, I would assume so also.

I'm sure many of us remember how Weapon X turned out for the X-Men... and they were X-Men led by Professor X.

Vneil, if that is all it was I would not have made comment at all.
I have no Rosy face on this matter and have not for a long time. Still, I have no way of knowing exactly what will be until it is and sorry, but neither do you.
When you assist an op, so be it. Going on over and over has nothing further to do with the Op.
I have been on the same side of the debate as you on several occasions, but you do go ballistic at times. It really places a damper on the actual discussion at hand.
People rarely like to be schooled on personal opinion, as we all have our own. ;)

Why did the chicken cross the road?

The chicken crossed the road to prove to the opossum that it could actually be done.
