I recently made a fairly decent-sized order from Vapor Bomb to celebrate the arrival of my eGo (red). I decided to get a small sample bottle of the RY4 (12mg, 80/20 PG/VG). I have been vaping it in a brand new 510 2ohm carto.

The first few puffs, I could definitely taste a sort of caramel/brown sugar flavor, but it seemed like it had an almost floral note to it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Anyway, I kept puffing away trying to pinpoint exactly what I was tasting, because this is one complex flavor. Additional puffs revealed a slight woodsy vanilla flavor and a tiny hint of coffee, sort of like walking past someone drinking a caramel cappuchino (I don't drink coffee, but I like the way it smells). The thing is, the more I puffed on it and tasted it, the more I liked it. In fact, I'm now in love with it and am going to order a big bottle.

Even though my nic level is on the low side, I did cough the first several times I tried to inhale, so it is pretty strong in the TH area (granted, I smoked ultra lights, but I could still smoke a red with the big boys). Now that I have the inhalation part down, it's very nice. Vapor production is also very good, but cartos always seem to put out better vapor on a lot of juices for me. I haven't tried dripping this one yet, so I can't comment on that, but I'm guessing it would be good that way too. Ok, so I lied when I said I couldn't comment on that! :)

Anyway, that's my little review on the RY4. Hope you enjoyed. Now, where's my eGo.... :)

Nice review. That does sound tasty and will def. give it a shot. I'm with you on the Carto's. I picked up the Extra Large Ego Carto from FSUSA site. They run $4.00 ea. but are really worth it. They don't leak if filled right and seem to let the vapor, TH, and flavor shine. Awesome with RY4. I used to drip, went through the LR atty's,HV pass thru stage and am basically a carto with a Tornado guy now. Can't get any easier. Thats what it's about for me now. Make it simple. At one point I was getting ...... off at all the crap you had to do in vaping. Dripping was a pain. Thanks again for the review.

You seem to be describing a very different RY4 than what i got from vaporbomb.

Mine is more like a plumb/tobacco flavor, but still my favorite juice ever.

Maybe my taste is off, but i noticed that vaporbombs RY4 tastes almost nothing like most.

You know, the taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint is probably actually a tobacco flavor. I'm just so used to it tasting like burnt ash, it's hard to recognize. To me, it has almost a cherry (very, very faint because I'm not crazy about vaping cherry) pipe tobacco flavor. But the ones that come through the strongest for me are the caramel notes. I've used almost my whole sample bottle already!

I've tried dripping on the 510 and the 306, and while it's OK for trying out a new flavor before I commit to a carto of it, I don't think you can beat the cartos for taste and convenience. I'm still learning, so I have a tendency to overfill them sometimes I think. Of course, the cone on the eGo takes care of any that might drip down the side, but I'm working on my technique! I think if you try the RY4, you'll really like it. It's like none of the other tobacco flavors I've had so far.

@ Peety: What RY4's have you tried? I agree with you. VB's RY4 is way different than others I've tried, but I can't put my finger on the differences. I don't get plum at all; in fact, I agree with the OP that it has woody tones, coffee tones, and more than a bit of floral top notes. Also, it's not as sweet as some RY4's I've tried.

Here's an example: I just finished vaping the last of my FSUSA Ry4. It's completely different than the Dekang, VB and others.

I'm wondering if there is a "true" or "original" Ry 4 to which others should be compared? The thing is, I've liked every different brand of Ry 4 I've tried. Go figure.

I can't vape it all day, as it eventually gets boring for me, but I vape it often enough to call it a "go-to" flavor juice.

Maybe we need a Ry 4 taste-off, or something. I'm sure there are vapers here who have better palates than I do; I think my taste buds are still recovering after 35 years of smoking Marlboro Red 100's... who knows? <g>

Ive tried dekang RY4 (carmel and tobacco flavors) and FSUSA RY4 (more tobacco and smokey than sweet) and neither taste the same as VB.

Have ordered RY4 from vaporbomb twice and it tastes the same both times so i would assume thats the same flavor everyone gets.
