vapor color

just visiting from another forum, and the search feature here didnt come up with anything.

is it possible to change the color of the vapor. perhaps adding something to the juice to produce blue, red, or green vapor instead of just white vapor that is always exhaled?

You could try dropping some ... first. You might see some techno color rainbow vapor after that.

I'm not sure if changing the color of the vapor is even possible, but that would definitely turn some heads. I'm pretty sure it would involve adding chemicals into the mix that wouldn't be healthy to inhale though.

Edit: Here's some info that I've found on coloured smoke. To make a green smoke bomb requires

Synthetic indigo - 26%
Auramine (yellow) - 15%
Potassium chlorate - 35%
Lactose - 26%

I'm not a scientist, but wouldn't be caught inhaling any of those compounds for fear of them being toxic.

From what I've read, the great thing about PG and VG is that they require very little heat to produce vapor, which is what makes it so great to be used in our atomizers.

The FDA is already on a witch hunt to ban ecigs, I wouldn't try mixing chemicals with your PG and fuel their fire with a headline that read "man found dead after smoking ecig", know what I mean?

i hear ya

i just added some blue food coloring the other day to some custom juice, and the vapor still came out white.

maybe there is a more 'natural' way of doing it?

(food coloring: water, proplene glycol, color additive )

The food coloring option has been tried, no change in the vapor color.

An LED on the mouth end might have a cool effect, maybe more trouble than it's worth though.

I tried the ... method...NO smoke at all !...but a lot of little spiders and a room full of BIG green men and two pink elephants...just kidding "of course" =-)
