Vapor in my tank?

So, it has to be some kind of leak, right? I'm using a 1.8 head in a pt2 with adjustable air flow and I'm getting vapor in my tank. I mean it looks cool and all, but that can't be right. No gurgling or any unusual sounds. It works fine, It's just weird.

Anyone have this happen to them? Anything bad happen?

It should not be a problem. I haven't had vapor in a pt, but then I haven't had one with adjustable airflow (which may very well be the culprit). I have, however, had it with all kinds of other tanks, mostly rebuildables. It's related to airflow and pressure, but isn't a smoking (vaping?) gun indicating a problem.

Thanks for the info. I put the stock base back on. Out of curiosity I'm going to try out the adjustable base on another tank.

So, I figured the problem out here. The airflow control wasn't the culprit, it was yours truly. I was tightening everything too much. What I did effectively pushed my atomized up just enough to break the seal. Later that night, my arty flooded and with that, of course, came the gurgling. Ah well, lesson learned.
