After looking over everything I think the vapor king value kit is what I'm going to go with. It's through vapor 4 life. It seems you don't have to worry about the atomizer with this brand because it's in the cartridge? I don't want to have to tinker with my e cig it will be stressful enouph not smoking an analog (but maybe not, since I don't really like it anyway!) I just want the nicotine!
Anyway any comments or advice about this product would be greatly appreciated! I want to buy a good product from a good supplier!
Thanks!
Shannon

Those kits come with old batterys with short cutoffs which are crap, stay away from them.

Nothing is exclusive there it is all rebranded KR808D-1 stuff, that is the most popular 2-piece e-cig.

Lots of places sell KR808D-1 batterys / cartomizers, Vaporkings.com is a popular place, other people will chime in with their favourites too theres a tonne of places.

I just got my order in and love it. I got the Ultimate XL Kit because I wanted the long battery life. When the order came in I had extra goodies with it including a extra battery so I don't think you can go wrong with them. Just my .02 cents

You're gonna need the extra battery that's why they give you them, their batterys are always flunking, soon as we bought unmodded original Kanger KR808D-1 batterys from vaporkings.com our problems went away. I won't even go into the problems with their duff cartomizers....

Yea, I wouldn't think of buying anything from anyone other than Vapor4Life. All of my stuff - let's see... 3 "short" batteries, 2 XL batteries, 1 portable carrying case (how could anyone do without one), 1 reg. carrying case, 3 USB passthroughs, 1 wall charger, 1 car adapter, 1 usb charger, 1 direct usb charger, and over 50 delicious carts... it all works wonderfully!

There's a lot of misinformation on the ECF forum tonight. What gives?

The V4L batteries are absolutely NOT crap; even the older batteries are very good in comparison to many of the e-cig batteries being sold out there with other models. I prefer the newer batteries with the longer cutoff time (13-seconds), but I started with the older versions and I credit them with getting me off analogs. They worked very well.

I know that there are different suppliers for the KR808D-1 (KR8) but I'm not sure they are exactly the same product. Isn't there a difference in the threading on the batteries & cartos? I know there's a difference in the flavors and strengths of the cartomizers. I'm pretty sure that the juice in many of the new V4L flavors is proprietary.

I'm not saying that the OP shouldn't buy a KR8 from another vendor, but the decision should be an informed one.

I've only used the V4L products, so I really don't have anything to compare to, but I'm happy. I love my V4L extra long manual batteries and passthrough. I am NOT the type of person that likes to "fiddle" with stuff, so I figured the 2-piece was the way to go. All of the positive feedback that I read about V4L is what made me choose them. Customer service is amazing... and that goes a long way in my book. Plus, they had all the pretty colors to choose from! I had to have pink! I'm such a girl.... ROFL!!!!

I've gone a week with out smoking with the Vapor4life products. A fact I'm pretty happy about. Is it the best? I don't know I haven't tried other products. Captain may well be right. However it's not my first rodeo on forums and with his sig line.....well I'm just going to put him down to some thats looking for attention. It's not flaming but it does seem design to fire up some people.

Hey, if that's how you feel about their stuff then that's fine, it's all personal opinion.

The batterys have the same threading, but 4 holes instead of 2, and a solid center post like old batterys instead of it being grooved... the cartos are all the same now, the old ones had a solid ring inside so you couldn't use them on any batterys like V4L's which have a solid center post, but now they're all made with grooves to work on any KR8 battery out there. The quality is bad though, i've experienced flunked batterys and had a pile of duff cartos sitting here from V4L, so it's not a fad. All of my other stuff from other vendors has been great.

And about the V4L flavors, they say they have flavors that are 'exclusive' to them and people are under the assumption it is true, well it's not, i've spoken to the factory personally.

I don't like to be negative, but there's so many things wrong with that company. If people wanna get into their brown nosing little cult on the subforum and are happy to pay more money for less quality goods then more power to them and i really mean that, but it's horribly offputting to me. Sorry, i just don't like the lies they tell people.

Edit: callofthevapor.... my sig line has actually attracted a lot of other people who feel the same way as me to message me and tell me their storys about the flunked stuff and customer service too, so it's actually good socialising on here for me too, i enjoy it.

In other words, by your own admission, they are not the same.

I'm pretty sure that the other cartos are not available in the range of flavors and nic levels that they sell at V4L: I think they have something like 80 different flavors now. I haven't seen a selection that large at any other site. If you have, I'd love to know where. Also, I believe that there definitely are new, proprietary flavored cartos at V4L. (Smilin Menthol, for one.) I'm glad that I have the option of buying compatible blanks, though. Are they significantly cheaper?

The quality is bad though, i've experienced flunked batterys and had a pile of duff cartos sitting here from V4L, so it's not a fad. All of my other stuff from other vendors has been great.

I did get a bad battery once - one of the new shorties that were part of a bad batch. They acknowledged the problem, replaced it right away and sent a free extra battery for my trouble. I've also gotten a few perfumey cartos, it's true - and had I asked for free replacement, they would have sent them to me without question. I didn't bother; I just rinsed them out and refilled them, again and again. Overall, the quality of the cartos has been very good, and it continues to improve.

I don't like to be negative, but there's so many things wrong with that company. Honestly, this is not a pissing contest. V4L is a business that is very well known for its excellent customer service. If you don't like the product, that's certainly your call.

And no, I'm not a V4L "cult member" - just a very satisfied customer. I think they are selling an excellent product. I am also very pleased with the service and products from several other vendors here at ECF, especially MyFreedomSmokes. IN MY OPINION, they are both top-notch.

You're right it's not a pissing contest at all, we're just both saying what we think on the subjects :)

Yes you can save a significant amount of money by using blanks and refilling them, it's actually quite convenient because you can just fill them up whenever and put them away to use later. A lot of the flavors are just 'fillers' there, i think a lot of them aren't even any good, some of them are downright terrible LOL.

The batterys, like i just mentioned in another thread, i was saying how it's funny that people on their own subforum a few weeks ago were saying you can get a better draw by holding over some holes on them, well if they just left the batterys alone like the original Kanger ones with 2 holes instead of adding another 2,then you'd get the same deeper draw without having to do anything. makes no sense to me !!

I know they are praised for their customer service but to be fair i get treated exactly the same other places too (won't name names incase people say i'm a fanboy) but with V4L the only reason i ordered more than once was to get replacements in my next order because they wouldn't send me replacements for the stuff i got that was duff. Sorry but a 2 dollar passthrough, or a few extra carts, or a bit of juice wasn't enough for me to put up with the overpriced and lower quality gear, some people are happy with that and that's good for them ya know.

I have to take 1 final dig though LOL... they put contests on their subforum for coming up with ways to improve stuff, first prize gets a Ultimate kit blah blah of their choice, so lets get this straight, if some dude comes up with some revolutionary idea to improve their lineup, all he gets is a vaping kit while they could be making a boatload of money off of an idea they didn't even come up with ? now THAT is horrendous LOL.

If someone has a wonderful patentable idea it would be foolish of them to throw it into a contest. By all means go have it produced and make money! People entered the contest because they wanted to win the prizes. Good for them!

You may have "spoken to the factory" but if you hadn't noticed V4L has a representative right in the factory working with the changes that sets V4L apart.

By all means buy from who you want to Captain, but the childish flaming of a rival company and going out of your way to egg on the customers or put the company down to new people? Shame on you. I hope the moderators are keeping an eye on you, no good comes from people like you.
