Of course there's adhesive, but if you want to remove it, do you need Goo Be Gone or something like that? Does it tear and rip like a price sticker? Once applied, can it be removed and reused?

I thought about getting some, but then I decided against it. I like the look of the gunmetal body as is, and if I want to go to shorty mode, I don't want to have to worry about removing and reapplying skins.

The wraps function similarly to the screen protector films used on cell phones. They stick very well, but don't leave behind any adhesive when you remove them. A wrap wouldn't tear and rip unless you really tugged hard while removing it. It would probably wrinkle and stretch out of shape, though. Removing and reusing would require a non-stick flat surface to transfer the wrap to and more patience than I possess.

I've used them on both my vamos. They're made of vinyl so they're unlikely to tear but will stretch if you're not careful removing them. They don't leave a residue either. The first two segments are one piece and there's another piece for the extension tube used for 18650 mode. The top and bottom caps are not covered. If you just want added scratch/fingerprint protection and a better grip look into their clear carbon fiber skin, I use it on my stainless steel for a clean look and added grip.
