Vapor "stuck"?

I've got a 510 kit that I got from cignot (great people there), and a drip tip that I got from Cigtechs. Every now and then, when I inhale, I won't get very much flavor. If I pop off the drip tip, a bunch of vapor will come out from between the tip and the atomizer...almost like it got stuck there. Am I inhaling wrong? Is this normal?

lol yeah its normal - mine do it - you just need to re-drip more often and wait a couple of beats longer between pulls is all. I bet your atty is red hot too, mine get that way (it won't hurt them).

I'm a noob and am using a manual, but I've read that autos can be finicky sometimes - could it be warming up after you've finished drawing on it?

I think the only thing I dislike about the dripper tip is that the opening is barely wider than the opening of my e-juice bottles. More often than not I end up getting some juice on the tip itself. :/

You can use a pipette if you can get one with a needle nose or use a syringe or buy some needle-nosed (not actual needles but shaped like lol) dripper bottles.
I just use the old carts without filler because I prefer whistle tips

I think the needle tip is where it's at. I find that most drip tips don't get the liquid onto the bridge, it kind of leaks down the side and sometimes you can suck up some resid left on the inner walls of the drip tip into your mouth. LOL

Gently blow into the drip tip before you add the liquid, gets rid of the vapor that is trapped so the liquid can flow to the atty. After awhile, it is second nature. I actually blow, drip and blow again to help it funnel to the atty.
