Nicely done...I definitely won't be buying a scewdriver now:D

Seriously though you are right that there are people out there that just want to put it in their mouth and vape without going through all the motions. People like us love to fiddle with all the different devices and mixtures wheras my 73 year old father still can't figure out the VCR much less the finer points of dripping on a 510 with a manual battery.

i agree, assuming i enjoy vaping when i get my 510, i'll probably want to try out a cartomizer for convenience later...i def. want to convince some buds, and my father who's been smoking since before i popped up...but like u mentioned, some of them will probably dismiss it & be turned off by all the maintenance...im hoping the technical stuff etc. will just keep me distracted from analogs hehe but they will probably dismiss it...the disposable with PCC is probably the only way i'll convince some of them...btw, regarding manual batteries, another review said 901 manual batts work with the cartomizers...

That was a great video for two reasons. Most importantly, the simple way is the best for my husband who just doesn't get the nuances of vaping although I am teaching how to refill his own cartomizers and he has cut down n his smoking..

Also, I was thinking about the screwdriver but since almost all of my supplies are for the 510 and 801, that probably isn't the way to go for me. But, I understand what you mean 1.) stocking up-love the tackle box!!! and 2.) the fun of mixing batches, trying different e-cigs. filling the carts, etc.

Again, thanks. You made some great points!

Glad you guys got what I was saying..but convincing people to not buy a screwdriver is not what I was trying to get across... in fact I couldn't make it through a day without my screwdrivers....I LOVE THEM...

But my wife doesn't get it.. doesn't look like a cig, have to hit a button.. blah blah blah.. I understand.. but at the same time I am glad, dont want to share....lol.

yep, i say recommend cartomizers only to ppl who scoff or dismiss vaping simply cuz of the maintenance (ie. most of my buds)...then once they enjoy it & want a real PV, thats when u hit them with a 510,prodigy,screwdriver,etc...i'm practically a vaper already, i just don't have a PV yet

Excellent overview. Only thing I could add is for people to watch out for cartomizers that burn up. Heard quite a few bad things about these burning the cartomizer material... Not sure I'd want to inhale that.

Gonna give one of these kr808d-1 models a shot myself though pretty soon and see what I find. They seem like the perfect vape for a night out.

Titanflyer, if Steve hasn't offered you a job as V4L spokesman yet, well...

Agree with the others, that is one of the best video reviews I've watched to date. Your spin with the SD was so funny cuz it was so true!! Course trog will probably have a fit to see you dripping the thing :D

Your overall scenario describes my domestic situation to a T. My supermodel is a bit past 21 though. I knew that with the SD and AR I was done buying toys. Just consumables, no more PV's cuz I had no need. How do I get my wife vaping though? All the same roadblocks you describe.

So now I s'pose I need to to take a second look at the Vapor King line.

Well done and appreciated sir!

Very nice review. I own a VK and love the heck out of it for driving and while at work. I can grab it and I know it will work every time. But like others say be careful of running it dry. At the slightest taste drop you need to fill it back up. You still get vapor (or something like vapor and smoke) but that is the atomizer wrapping burning up. Just be careful and they are a great device. I recommend them to anyone just starting out. Steve has done a good job of marketing this model and I like the color choices he has now. I just wish the disposable carts were cheaper. At $2.60 a piece it can add up quick. But I guess you pay for that convenience. I would not want to be without mine and I have all the rest including the SD and PD if that says anything.

Wow. Great video!

I am having the same issue with my wife and have been lurking on the various vendor's sites...it's time to go ahead and commit to one. Oh, by the way, I'll have to make room for this by moving my Dragon, Prodigy, 510's, EVO's, the soon-to-arrive 901, juice, chargers, needles, towels, hand sanitizer, ... crap, I may have to try the VK for myself.

Great video and you did in fact hit on something important... most people you introduce to vaping will NOT want to get into the rituals that some of us pay no mind to.

They really need to host your vid on their website, you will sell a crapload of the VK because of this review. You put it on the "every man" level.

I'm looking at the VaporKing Ultimate Ultimatum.

I have a couple questions if anyone knows anything about them:

How is the battery life?

How long do the cartomizers last you?

I smoke about 10-20 cigarettes a day, approximately 1 an hour, sometimes 2 hours depending.

Just wondering because I'm curious how long the initial pack of 5 carts will last me. Obviously it's different for everyone, just trying to get an estimate.

I'm in my 9th day of the VaporKing and have never tried anything else. My method of use is what I'm comfortable with, but may not work for others. I hit this thing 4 or 5 times every 20 minutes. Based on that a cartridge lasts me about 10 hrs or so. Battery life for 1 of the batteries received in the kit is 13 hrs, 6 for the other. I was at almost 3 packs of cigarettes a day and smoked my last cigarette when I was opening the ecig box. I had 1 drag from a cigarette 2 days ago and it was foul tasting. I actually believe I can quit this time (32 years of smoking). I don't have the time to mess with juice when i'm out, but at home i'm thinking of trying a juice model just for the flavor variety. I did order some juice (from Litecigusa) and am going to try to refill a few of the VaporKing cartridges just to see how it goes, but i'm very happy with this kit so I don't see not using it in favor of something more labor intensive.
