I've been vaping on the Pro since this morning. I have used it in SS mode, Ni mode and wattage mode with corresponding coils and it has worked perfectly in each! When I change coils it asks me if the coil and I set the coil after it asks. I don't know if it figures out the wire type automatically or not because I never thought to let it try, lol! I'll do that tomorrow. Here are some unboxing pictures, though. More on performance tomorrow. :)

I got the Target Pro as well and am loving it. I have had some slight leakage but may be due to tipping over in my pocket and huge temp changes between AC/outdoors.

My question is wich Ccells do these Pro tanks take!?! From what I can see its the original ones not the Guardian type. But the insert in the tank has been modified from all the review samples and even the pictures at all the stores have a vertical oval and these tanks have horizontal ones that close off for filling when you start to remove the bottom of the tank.

And I can't find anywhere that has the new SS 0.6 coil with the new round holes (instead of honeycomb) and notched bottom airflow instead of the old round bottom. And the notched bottoms appear to be the Guardian type coils? Kinda confusing

The coils that come with the Target Pro are the original SS cCells. They fit in the original Target as well as the Pro tank. I haven't seen the Guardian coils yet, so I don't know if they are interchangeable or not. I am super curious about the new coils!

I like the base on the Pro tank better than the original Target base because the coils screw in more easily, at least on mine. Do you have the sample Pro or the full production model?

they will not be interchangeable....they utilize a new air delivery system for the guardian

Nice looking device. Looks very comfortable to use. My arthritis would appreciate something like that.

Yes, it's super comfortable to hold. The Target design very ergonomic and can be held a number of different ways so if one position is uncomfortable, you can easily change positions to find something that's comfortable for you. It's a great mod, for sure, and it's awesome that the Pro can handle different wire types now. So far I have run SS, Ni and kanthal on it with great success. :)

I have the full production version. Both the SS coils it came with have the notched bottom instead of the round like the kanthals. And I can't find any pics online of the original Ss's. Just the .9 kanthals and .2 nickels which had round bases and the only comparison pics I can find with notched bottoms are guardian coils.

I think that the square (notched) bottom is standard on the SS cCell. That's how the ones I got with my Gemini tank are, too. I love that it's easy to tell which coils are which, even though Vaporesso apparently decided against using the plain metal SS coils I saw first online. From what I can tell, the original kanthals have the red O rings, the Ni coil has the aqua O rings, and the SS coils have the red O rings but the square bottoms, but all of them are gold plated.

I am finding that the SS cCells seem to have a little bit longer break-in period than the kanthals, though. Have you found this to be true, too?

Appreciate the confirmation on the square SS's. I'm fresh back to vaping after a 5yr relapse to analogs. Still on my original coil. Bought a pack of kanthals but I'm liking the TC of SS so trying to make sure I get exactly what came with the Pro before I order.
Welcome back to vaping! That's awesome. :) I have been trying to get my husband back into it (his cough is scaring me!!!) and I even loaned him my original Target because he loves the shape but he just isn't ready to get healthy yet. :(

Takes a while to get access to your goodies when Heaven Gifts packaging
is involved. o_O

Hahaha, that's the truth! I have a pair of scissors in the drawer next to my chair for just such an occasion. :)

Ohhhh, it's so cute! Does the extra drip tip have that rod in it permanently or is it removable? I am really curious about the new coils that come with that tank. Can't wait to hear your impressions! :)

Will post more later

Extra Drip Tip:

Appears to be designed for the MTL club (Me). As far as the "extension", I tried
to gently pry the pieces apart, but they would not separate. I'm sure with some
force it could be done.

Just washed the tank and the parts are currently drying so here's a pic
comparison of the original and new coils side by side for now (Older coil
on right is upside down  ).

Coil Comparison.jpg

On a side note, taking the tank apart is odd as the 510 connection at the top of the tank
has to be twisted clockwise to loosen/remove.
