Extra Drip Tip:

Appears to be designed for the MTL club (Me). As far as the "extension", I tried
to gently pry the pieces apart, but they would not separate. I'm sure with some
force it could be done.

Just washed the tank and the parts are currently drying so here's a pic
comparison of the original and new coils side by side for now (Older coil
on right is upside down  ).

On a side note, taking the tank apart is odd as the 510 connection at the top of the tank
has to be twisted clockwise to loosen/remove.

Oh wow, the coils are totally different! Thanks for the pictures. :)
That's weird that the 510 twists backward. I hate when that happens, lol. I forgot that Bath and Bodywork's Wallflower plug-ins do that, too, and I over-tightened the lid on one of them and it was a real bear to get it off. It's counter-intuitive when they do that!

The leak prevention ring on the UD Blarog mod is removed the same way.

About the extra drip tip. You can take it apart, but the tip will have no 510
connector. The mouth tip and the 510 connection with extender pipe are
separate pieces.

I'm a chain vaper, so I'm getting just a little over 1hr with
my current config. I'll see what I can squeeze out of the mini
with a simple kanthal A1 2.5mm at 0.5ohm or so when my next
coil change is due.

Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA V1 3ml

At 18-20w with 0.6ohm Clapton coil/2mm inner diameter

my Target Mini arrived today.....so tiny, so cute :D
Been framing an addition on the house all day, and will be again for the next few days, so I will have to get pics and thoughts posted when I can. What I can say...it is amazing they packed 40 watts and so many features into such a small package! It feels really well made. USB charging was nice and quick. Initial impression.....I really really like it...even more then the Pico.

Ahh, so you can't insert the tube into a different drip tip? That's what I was wondering. Thanks, Ramsay! :)

I can't get over how tiny it is! An hour is not good, lol. I bet it charges fast, though.

I finally got the firmware update tool loaded! The file name contains Chinese characters that you have to remove after the file is unpacked before you can set up the program. Thanks to @techiedj for the help with that! The software is pretty comprehensive. There is a translation button in the menu which is good since it is set up in Chinese. Although there is no firmware update yet, I did change my power on screen to something besides "Vaporesso." :D You can even change the color of the font, but I like the blue.

Hmm, I might try a bigger font....

Glad you got it working! I wanted to share a couple of the custom images I have sourced/altered/created that I use for my poweron/systemlocked/systemoff screens.View attachment 569455 View attachment 569457 View attachment 569459 View attachment 569461 View attachment 569463

Those are awesome! Thanks for sharing! I love that there are ways to customize our screens so easily now. I had an Evic Supreme and I tried to add a custom image to it a few times but I was never able to do it. :)

Strangely enough....I have found that I like the "mtl" tip better even for dtl vaping.

I am actually really digging this thing. Battery life isn't stellar...but I can vape 2 tanks on one charge at 500 degrees on ss mode, so it is sufficient...specially for a throw in your pocket out and about set up. They used thicker metal then you would think...making it heavier then it appears....but it is a good weight, adding to the feel of well made. At 500 degrees, the guardian tank gets fairly warm, and with the thick metal of the mod, the tank heat transfers to the mod some...but that only happens while chain vaping. The only part that really gets too warm is the top of the tank....and using the "mtl" tip helps keep your lips away from the heat...and this isn't really a chain vaping device. Flavor from the new cCell guardian coils seem on par with the full size target cCells. I've run about 5 tanks through....so far no drop in flavor (so their life may be as good as the other cCells...will find out :D), have had no flooding or spit back.

More findings and info to follow as time permits

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping ;)

Good stuff! I bet the new coils do last as long as the cCells. Vaporesso definitely knows how to do ceramic! :) I changed the tip on my Pro tank, too. The tank doesn't get too warm, but I don't like those little 1/4" nubs for drip tips.

Looks about the size of a Nugget or Mini Volt, nice.

Can anyone tell me me if you can change the max wattage on the little guy when in a TC mode?
I compared it ti a mini volt yesterday at a vape shop....dang near identical in size.

No, you can not change the preheat wattage in TC....but 40 watts isn't enough to cause issue with most coils. It is also extremely smooth at temp control...the type of regulating that you can not feel happening. Even with it being at max wattage by default, and the temp set really low, you get no pulsing at all.

Ah yes, I forgot that it's only 40W. I usually set my max wattage to 35W so 5 watts more shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Keeping this one on the list then, thanks for the reply

I just heard back from Vaporesso about the firmware update tool. I had a problem getting it loaded because the file name contained Chinese characters and I had contacted them to let them know. They changed the file name so the zipped file should load without any issue now. :) Here's the new link for anyone who is interested:
