It's more of an alternative to me. I'm sure it's easier to quit e-cigs than tobacco.
Just think of all the money and research that's gone into producing the right chemicals to add to tobacco to keep you addicted.

Oh, so that's where that cigarette tax money goes! I always wondered about that!

Take a look in the classified section of this page.

Note that you will see ads with people selling all there vaping stuff. They started vaping to quit smoking, usually after years of failure with other methods, many of them FDA approved. Now they have decided to quit vaping as well.

Not everyone does but it happens enough to see that ,regardless of what they were designed for or sold as , many people are using PV's to free them selvs not just from smoking but nicotine and quit vaping as well.

It is a personal choice.
Good luck however you proceed.

Well I'd say the first step to quiting is getting off the cigarettes.
Then use the ecig to tapper off the nicotine. I'd say that is the two hardest things to give up. After that, it's pretty much centers on how dedicated you are about making the last step.

Me, I did the first two steps and I have no plans on giving up vaping just because I love it and don't want to give up the motion of smoking.
I'm more determined to exercise and get into shape and lose a little weight.

Teaspoon? What's a teaspoon? Could you convert that into milliliters?

P.S. And how much VG would I need to add to one of these "teaspoons" of yours to get it down to 11mg.

Ha Ha that would be 5/ml and you would add a 1/4 of a teaspoon full of VG and that will get you around 11mg.:)

Hello everyone and I am new to this forum. I am planning on quitting smoking and was recommended e-cigs from a friend. While I did a search, I found this great message board with reviews of certain e-cig brands.

I congratulate all the wonderful people in here for their strong will to quit and someday I will be smoke-free as well.

What bothers me the most about these e-cigs is the fact that it will help me quit smoking and turn on to another habit. Yes, I won't smoke anymore with the help of the e-cigs but I will become addicted to e-cigs.

I have notice that a majority of members have quit smoking but they have made vaporizing into a hobby. This is an alternative to other ways of smoking and I am afraid it's going to turn me into a e-cig addict.

Thoughts? Is this a solution to stop smoking or alternative?

Thanks in advance.

What has one ounce of worry ever garnered anyone? At the worst it's a healthier alternative to smoking. What is there to be concerned about? People who are drowning usually don't fret much over whether or not the life preserver will chafe their skin.
