I got a couple of 510 batteries and the vapormaxx pcc. I have it plugged into the computer to charge the pcc, and it shows full charge. I put in a battery, close the lid, hold the button down, it turns green, continue holding, it flashes green 20 times, then turns red for 5 seconds. Should the light stay red till it's charged or is it supposed to go out after 5 secs?

The red light turns off. As long as you got the red light (and then it went off) and don't open the case, it will charge. If you open the case then you need to restart the charge.
And remember to always make sure the end of your battery is clean and dry before putting it in the PCC or charger. You don't want to get wet or dry ejuice way down in that PCC on the connection.
