Quick question. Will the AW 3.0v batts I have for my 3.7/6v work with a 5 volt regulated ST?
The Saber Touch 5v was designed to use (2) 16340 3.6v or 3.7v. Using (2) 3v batts may work for a little while, but remember, it needs 5.3v-5.5v to be regulated down to 5v. You will be charging them pretty often.

I just ended up ordering new ones (Protected Trustfire 16340/CR123 Lithium Ion Battery, 3.7v, 880mah). I figure it's my first brand new/custom mod I should start it out with the best. Looked into brass etching too and I'm gonna get the 1up mushroom etched on the bottom. I'll post pics as soon as I have it all done.

That is going to look so cool! I'll use Your pics for the Custom Photo Album on our site!

I would like a 3.7 Saber touch that would fit one battery. I have a 3.7 mod that fits an ultrafire 18350. I like that mod a lot, because I can fit it in my hand easily since I am small. BUT the switches die, the first one it was always on right out of the box and the other one is probably not gonna last much longer. And it (the button)clicks ... click ,click, click. So annoying when I am chain vaping LOL.

I would really like a ST mini ;-)

I was thinking about that very idea!

Yep I do like my 5V better than anything. Honestly I am afraid to take it in public. I kind of yelled at Hubby for taking his in the truck with him LOL. Lucky I didn't let him leave it there because the truck got towed that day (he parked in a tow zone at clearwater beach). I am hearing stories of people being stopped by police officers who see them vaping in the car. I don't mind educating police officers about PV's and their use but with my luck I will end up with some stinky nasty one who gives me trouble.

So I reserve my 5V ST at home mainly because it sticks out of my hand too much and does look like something odd I am puffing on LOL. I am only 5'3 and have small hands so it looks odd to people who don't know what it is.
So if you do make a Saber Touch mini I will be on the buy it now list quick.

Hi Lawrence
With all the Ego/Riva type devices running LR attys getting around now which do an ok job but prone to switch/battery problems, I would also like to see a ST mini & I would definitely grab one also. Maybe taking nothing bigger then a 14500 3.7v battery, a bit more pocket sized for going down the shops and best of all will last.

Think about it

What if I made it so that is would use just one 16340 3.7v battery, kept the same size width, but it would only be 3" long, compared to the normal 4 1/2". You could use a 3.7v 1000 mAh battery that would give you pretty good battery life. And, would show NO THREADING past the cap! So it would be a "stubby" version of the ST that you could easily conceal in your hand! And of course, it would still have the touch sensor switch that will never wear out like push button switches.

I was also thinking of making a version of the normal ST without showing any threads past the cap. Would look a little sleeker!

I need your thoughts!

I have a request. I have no idea if this is possible, but I cannot vape any less than 6 volts now! So is there any way to may a small 6V Version?? I know this is probably impossible due to the size of the 3.0V CR123 batts, but maybe??

CV :vapor:
I know what you mean about higher voltage. I like 5v myself. But, the 3.7v with LR atties isn't bad. And, you would get all of the safety and durability benefits of the ST in a shorter package.

Making a version of the ST with no thread past the cap would be awesome. If you can implement that on the one I just ordered that would be even better:)

How would you like to be the first to have a Saber Touch without showing threads? (besides me! LOL)
